5 hoursleft...

I tried to get some rest for tomorrow.

I got onto the top bunker and layed my head softly on my Cap'n Powers Pillow.

The lights seemed to get blurry as I fell asleep. Like, I was on anastheisa.

A somewhat familiar voice woke me up slowly.

'Oh, Look, honey. He's waking up.', said a female voice.

'I still can't believe he made it. The others all failed.', said a strong male voice.

'It's in his blood after all.', said the female voice as she gently stroked my hair.

I don't know what it was but when she softly went through my hair, I felt a ray of hope that I've never gotten before. It felt like I didn't have a problem in the world.

I tried to open my mouth and say something but all I could manage was a 'Ga-gah'.

'Aw, I think he likes it.'

'Careful, honey. He might be tired after all the tests we put through him.' said that familiar male voice.

Tests? What tests? What were they talking about? Who were they? So many questions ran through my mind, I hadn't realised I was in a babys body.

I felt frail. Even a small purr of a cat could get me to have a waterfall through my eyes.

Unfortunately, I heard something worse.

'Sirens', said the female voice.

'They're coming. We have to get him out of here. Anywhere but here.', said the male.

'Eddy, No.., I just can't. We can keep him with us...In our home..He'll be safe there.', said the feminine voice with Huge concern.

'Lily, We can't take the risk. If Merwin finds out -'

They're conversations ended with a footsteps. Dozens of footsteps.

'Quick, We have to move him swiftly.' said Eddie.

'Alright, fine. I'll get him to Michael, he'll take him somewhere far away'.

I didn't know what to do. I started the tearworks. I was angry. I don't know at what, but I was.

Lily tried to calm me down. But no matter how hard I tried to stop, I couldn't.

'Give him the Injection. Quick.' said Eddie.

Injection? Needle? OH NO. I was terrified of Needles. Even those which were less than an inch long.

I protested by waving my small baby hands but it was too late.

'You're going to be fine. You're just taking a small nap.'

I couldn't make out whose voice it was. My eyes and ears were dozing off.

I tried to stay awake for a few more seconds.

'You'll be fine...son. Just follow the -'.

I couldn't make out what his final words were.

But then I realised something.

SON? As in, He was my father?

***

The alarm clock startled me.

'It was just a dream.' I said.

It didn't feel like a dream. I was just trying to calm myself.

I heard a shout.

'Theodor Archero. Come down this instant.', screamed my mom.

'You're late for school, Teddy.', said my little sister, Erika.

I hated that name. Ugh

I dressed within two minutes and went into the kitchen.

'Eat your toast and get to school.', said Mom with a stern but comforting look.

I ate the breakfast my mom made me. I could hear Espin calling me out from the frontyard.

'THEO. Come quick or we're gonna be late.', Espin screamed with her High-Pitched voice.'

'Coming, let me just pack my books.'

I felt nervous and excited for my first day.

I almost walked out of the house when I heard my mom.

'Don't forget your lunch. And Remember, NO FIGHTS.'

'Come on, mom. You know me.', I said as I tried to defend myself.

'Don't worry, dear. He won't get into a fight.', my dad backed me up.

Well, Oh boy. How wrong were they?
