"Belle. This is me. I changed the number and I've something to talk about." You know that voice. It's Jonah and pretty sure it's urgent if he calls you instead of texting you.

"Sure. Can we meet up at my mum's house?"

***

"Guess who's next? Urmm.... Oh yes, Julie." He said to himself. He has a board called "SILENT MURDER" with some of the girl photos pinned on it. "Belle. I know you don't want to come out right now but I'm going to hunt you. You can't run away from me. You're mine. But, I rather play some games before letting you go.... Before you leave this world and gone, forever."

***

"What's it? Is it bout Karley?" He only looked at you. He nodded and "Yes. I'm sorry. I've told Corbyn bout uh, the girls. I just want him to be happy but I didn't know that he's still, want to do that which is murdering someone. I'm so sorry, Belle. You can blame and I'm here to take the blame."

"No, it's fine. I get it you're a good friend but you know he's got a history bout murdering people. You can't just let him know literally everything. I can forgive you but, I need your help."
You said. "Sure. Anything..." Jonah said and put his hand on yours. He squeezed your hand a few times and hold it tight. "Do you think that she's like targeting me?" You asked. "Yes. You're." Both of you shared a look.
"I'm.... I don't know anymore, Jonah. I just, I feel lost and my brain, it's not really functioning."

"Hey. Don't worry, okay? We're all here for you. I'm sorry that you've lost 2 of your friends... I promise I'm going to stay by your side. I'll do anything, that I can to help you. Have you talk to the head officer? Mr Seavey?" You shook your head. "I'll give you his number. I think that, maybe, he can help us. He has been handling this kinda case for years and he was Corbyn's classmate at the law school."

"Corbyn? He went to a law school?"

"I know hard to believe it. He has like 1 semester left but, he dropped out. He said being a lawyer isn't his ambition."

***

"Hello. Jack!"

"What do you want?" Jack said. "Come on. You know you owe me, don't you? Where are you now?" Corbyn asked. "I'm in Germany. Yes, I left her. Thanks to you, you son of bitch!"

"Whoa, hang on. Did she knew bout this?"

"Nope."

He started to laugh. That psycho kinda laugh. How creepy it's even just on hearing him laughing through the phone. "Cool. My job is done with you. But, that doesn't mean I'm really going to change my mind to kill her... You put her in danger, Jack. Now, I can't wait to kill those who are close to her. Once she's the only left, I'll, maybe, I'll think about it again. Maybe, she's going to be my wife or my sweet victim?"

"CORBYN!" Jack yelled. Corbyn ended the call before Jack can even speak. "Shit! I feel stupid!" He quickly turn on his laptop. "I better find a flight time that closest to the timezone. You can't kill her, Corbyn. She's everything I ever had and she doesn't deserve to put through all these bullshits. I'm going to make you regret this..."

***

"Hello? Sir?"

"Belle Hartley?"

"Yes. Jonah gave me your number. I hope that you can help me. I'm sorry if I'm like, disturbing you. I know it's like a work hour for you."You said." It's fine. That's my job to help anyone that need me. The justice need to be done. "

You're relieved to hear what he just said. You're really nervous at first because, he must've been not going to take this seriously due to lack of evidence regarding the case."Thank you. So, when are we going to discuss about this?"

***

"Hola, amigos." Corbyn said. It's 6 in the evening. Jonah and him having the usual 'coffee time' at the nearby cafe. "Hola. How's your day?"

"Exciting."

"How's that? You look happy though."

"Well, everyone is trying to chase after me. But, I don't think they can just drag me into the jail..... I trust you, Jonah. You've helped while I'm at my worst."

"Why? I mean, you're running away?"

"I can say, yeah but I'll let you know later."

***

While you're on the phone with the head officer, you receive a text.

Jonah : Belle. He said that he's going to run away, far from here. But, he's going to send the location soon.

A part of you feels sad while a part of you feels grateful. You're sad because you can't uphold the justice but grateful as he's not longer close to you. "Mr Seavey, do you mind, if I invite you to my place? I'll send you the address."

"Sure. Stay safe."
