Finally the train arrived at the station where Yoongi had to get off. Well, actually he didn't had to get off there, the next stop would've been a lot closer to his work place, but he always took an earlier train and preferred to walk a little. Especially today he was glad that he did so, because that blonde guy from before just wouldn't stop looking in his direction.
As soon as he was outside, he walked up the stairs leading to the streets of Daegu. This part of the city was a little bit less busy, but he still didn't like it. Still too many people. Still too much noise. Still no headphones. But he had to. He had to come here every day. Work itself wasn't the problem. He had a job as a waiter in a small dog café and enjoyed the company of his cuddly co-workers. Mostly because they didn't talk that much. His favorite dog was a six year old bull terrier named Kyu. Yoongi always thought that the name didn't really fit – Kyu stands for something like ‚standard', but this dog was everything except normal. He was born with just one eye, his fur had a strange color and he was really shy towards strangers. Costumers didn't really like him, but the owner of the cafe – Kim Taehyung – didn't want to get rid of him, since he knew that nobody would want to adopt a dog like Kyu.
Ever since Yoongi started working here, he and Kyu were inseparable. Maybe because he could relate to Kyu a lot, since he was pretty shy - well, actually not shy, more like...reserved - with strangers himself and most people didn't like the fact that he had colored hair either. He barely smiles around people he doesn't know that well, which comes off as cold or even impolite really fast. This was one of the main reasons why it was hard for him to get a job and why he's so thankful that Taehyung let him work here - even with blue hair and everything else that made it hard for Yoongi to find a job. They knew each other from school a few years ago, but they barely talked to each other back then. They both were outcasts, Yoongi because he had kind of a 'bad boy image' and always seemed like he wanted to be alone, on his own and Taehyung simply because he was a little bit different from the others, unique as Young would say.
The vibration of his phone interrupted his thoughts and brought him back to reality. He took a look at the message he got.
09:13
I'm gonna be a little late today. Today's the first day of our new part time worker I told you about yesterday, could you welcome her and show her around? I'm sorry ~
Yoongi sighed. Taehyung really was chaotic sometimes. He wondered what was causing his delay this time. Normally he didn't mind Taehyung being late, but why does it have to be today where the new worker has to be instructed? Nevermind, a day that already started that bad can't end better - another thing he learned over the years.
A few minutes later he arrived at the café and saw that their new worker was already waiting outside. I guess she's an early bird he thought. As he came closer he raised his eyebrows with surprise. Taehyung hired a foreigner? Not that he had a problem with that, he was simply surprised – it isn't very common for foreigner to get jobs like that. But with Taehyung as a café owner, everything was possible anyways.
Just in that moment the girl turned around and smiled at him.
"Hi! You must be Min Yoongi, right?"
"Uh yes, I am...and you're our new co-worker, I guess?"
"Yes, you're right. My name's Chrispy - nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too", Yoongi mumbled while searching his bag for the keys of the café. Her Korean was surprisingly good, which didn't really match her appearance. Her hair was dark, almost black and wavy, almost curly. The color of her skin somehow reminded him of the color of coffee beans when they meet the sunlight. Her name was very uncommon as well. He wondered where she was from.
Finally he found the keys and opened the door. He could already hear Kyus excitement which made him smile a little bit. Maybe this day isn't gonna be as bad as he thought. He entered and Chrisply followed him. She seemed to be nice, but he still wasn't in the mood for talking a lot. „As you probably know, this is a dog cafe. Sometimes you will have to check on the dogs outside of our opening hours, which is why you're gonna get a key as well", he explained. „Yeah, Taehyung-ssi mentioned something like that..what exactly do I have to do when it's my turn to check on them?" „Not that much actually. You just have to make sure that they're doing fine and sometimes you also have to clean a little bit." „Alright, doesn't sound that hard", she nodded and smiled.
After Yoongi showed her everything and explained the most important things, he let the dogs out and introduced every single one to her as they sat down on the grass outside the small building and watched the dogs goof around.
"This is Shin, a 7 years old corgi. She's one of the most liked dogs." He pointed at the tiny light-brown and white colored dog. As soon as she heard her name, she ran across the garden and inspected the two human beings curiously. "She seems to be very sweet", Chrispy smiled. "Yes, she is, but to be honest, sometimes she gets on my nerves." "Which one's your favorite dog then?", Chrispy asked.
"Kyu. He's the one lying under the small tree right there", he answered. "He seems to be very shy, doesn't he?" "Yes, he is with most people, but we get along quite well", Yoongi said. Because we're both outcasts that nobody wants to have around, he ended his sentence silently. "He's cute. I think I like him", she stated.
At least one of us gets the love he deserves, right Kyu?

author's note ; that's it, that's the second chapter you were waiting for. *sarcasm off* i'm actually not that happy with it, but i decided I should continue writing instead of waiting for my creativity-block to end, so my lack of creativity wouldn't end in writer's block as well.
