Adrien is in love with Marinette, while Ladybug's in love with Chat Noir. No matter how many times they confess their love to each other, both end up getting rejected.
Along the way, other love rivals fight to win the hearts of Marinette and Adrien...
Marinette had everything she could ask for, and she couldn't be more grateful. She had friends, a loving family, her kwami Tikki, and she was starting to become known for her designs and baking skills. And of course, her crazy crush and obsession on Chat Noir.
Adrien was Marinette's best friend and they pretty much always hung out with each other. They went to the park together, hung out at the ice rink, with Nino and Alya of course. Then Adrien soon realized how he felt nervous and stuttered his words around Marinette. Adrien started to fall in love with her. Adriens personality was a bit different from the rest, almost always faking a smile for his father and the others. He couldn't risk the chances at getting akumatized since he was Chat Noir, and putting his fathers reputation on the sidelines. Somehow he felt shut away from the rest of the world, as if he was hiding his real personality from the world, except when he was Chat Noir. _________________________________________ Sunny Monday morning...
"Alya!" said Marinette running up to her. "Check out all these designs I have for the Designs and Arts competition. But maybe they're too ugly or too boring and I might not-" "Girl, chill out. Let me see your sketchbook" she said as Marinette handed her the sketchbook. Alya examined through the pages amazed at all the designs she had come up with. "These are amazing gurl, for sure! Now let's go to class."

When they got to Miss Bustiers class they noticed they were the first two. "Marinette, are you entering for the Designs and Arts competition?" she asked. "Yes! In fact I'm done with all my designs." She showed Miss Bustier all her designs, looking a little nervous.

"Wow! You know I'm not surprised, you did win last time with your derby hat and you created it under 10 hours!" She sighed of relief, then went to go sit back down. She was still looking at her hats, dresses, and shirts when everyone else entered the class. "H-Hey Marinette, those a-are nice designs" Adrien chuckled nervously. "O-Oh! Thank you, Adrien!" "Okay class, open your English textbooks to page 87". And so the day went on... _________________________________________ After school, Adriens house... "Oh plagg! How am I ever going to tell Marinette I love her?" Adrien asked the little kwami. "I don't know! Send her a text or whatever, now give me my precious Camembert!" "That's not it... I need something more romantic" Adrien troubled himself and paced around the room, trying to figure out what to do.
If I want something more romantic than just sending a text then I could write her something... A LOVE LETTER?!
"That's it, Plagg! I'll write her a letter!" He then spoiled his cat kwami with much more Camembert.
