I finished my dance, allowing Cheetah and the other girls to get their fill in for the night until closing time. I trotted towards the dressing room, a stack of money in my hand. It was a really good night, I smiled, "Maybe he was just being nice..." I moved some of the bills around in my hand, the stack the man gave me was more prominent than the rest of what I received tonight.

"Who was being nice, Rose?" Trevor asked, I jumped at the sound of his voice. He nearly gave me a heart attack and he did this every time I was finished with my dance. Once I turned around I smiled at him, trying to avoid the subject of that mysterious stranger already enjoying the next show being put on, but he didn't seem as interested as when I was up there

"Nothing Trevor, I was just thinking about what happened earlier today at home." I looked down at my hands, realizing Trevor was here for his part of the cash I made. I handed the stack over to him and watched his eyes nearly fall out of his head.

"Who gave you this?" He asked, pulling out the stack the man had given me just a couple minutes before. I was about to answer until Trevor cut me off, "Never mind who it is, go out there and find him. Maybe give him a lap dance or something. Make some extra cash sweetheart, you deserve it." Trevor smiled and handed me all of the cash.

"Wha-I thought.."

"Don't worry about it, you keep all of it this time, sweet heart." He smiled before leaving the dressing room again. God knows where he went, maybe to his office or to watch the cameras again like he always does.

I looked down at my hands and smiled, he's never done this before! Maybe... this time I can finally buy a car or put some money aside for a new place to live for mom and I. Thoughts of what I could buy with this money clouded my mind, too much to the point where I didn't see Cheetah behind me trying to get my attention. I turned around and she laughed a bit at me. My cheeks flushed and were now tinted pink.

"Hey, you okay?" Cheetah asked, walking over and placing a hand on my shoulder. I only smiled and nodded at her, stuffing the money I received in my draw string backpack. "That's good, but there's a guy out there asking for ya' suga'." She pointed out towards the dance floor. I nodded at her, making sure everything was fine before walking out there once again.

I noticed the strange man leaning up against a wall near the front door of the club. He had a blue suit shirt with a black tie and black slacks. He looked like he recently got out of a meeting somewhere. Our eyes finally met each other again, but this time I wasn't consumed, rather I was mesmerized. I've seen these eyes before, I don't know from where or when but those were the eyes of a killer. Yet... I couldn't pull myself away from him. The vibe he gave made me feel at peace, I was comfortable with him... I grabbed his black tie, and led him in the back where the dances take place. The two of us didn't say a word to each other, but I knew he wanted me. He had no idea how much I wanted him too....

I pushed the man back into the chair and slowly danced in front of him, "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails echoed through the background of the whole place. His eyes scanned my body. I got closer to him, shaking my ass near his crotch area. Thankfully, Trevor made a policy to keep us safe. No patron is allowed to touch a stripper at all, if they do, then they get kicked out. It's as simple as that; unfortunately there are men who shoot their shots and some of them have been banned for physically hurting one of us.

I started finishing up my dance, and for the first time I heard him speak. "How much does it usually cost for this?" He asked, pulling out his wallet to pay me.

"You've already played enough, sir." I smiled at him, "You don't owe me anything." I stood by the door, a little wary of the man, but he felt inviting. Who was he? Why did he give me so much money..? Why did I feel this way around him..?

"No! I insist." He pulled out some cash and tried handing it to me, "After all, I made your co-worker get you for me even though you were done for the night."

"Just come tomorrow night, maybe I'll reconsider." I pushed his money back towards him, "Not saying I want you to give me more money, but I'd like to see you again." What was I doing? Did I really just say that to a complete stranger?

"I'll take you up on that offer," the man grinned, "What time do you usually end tomorrow?" He asked, stuffing his money in his wallet and putting it in his back pocket.

"I usually leave around 11 or 12 depending on how packed we are." I crossed my arms across my chest, "Why are you asking?"

"Maybe I'd like to see you more? Not at work I mean."

"Oh!" I chuckled, "Well it's gonna take more than this to go out with you, ya' know." I looked down at me feet, the heels I'm wearing were killing me and I just wanted to go home, "Besides I don't know your name."

"It's Jonathan." He hesitated to say his name. "Can I know yours?"

"Well, since I'm still working and its company policy, no I can't tell you." I sighed, "You can just call me Rose, or you can figure it out tomorrow night."

"So that's a yes to our 'date'?" Jonathan stated, placing air quotes when he mentioned the word date.

"Date? You're mistaken, just call it a little get together?" I tried avoiding the subject, I'm in no mind to date someone, let alone a man like this. Besides, I gotta take care of mama and myself.

"Whatever you say, princess." The man walked through the door to leave, "See you tomorrow." He winked at me and walked down the hall towards the front door.

I watched him leave, a weight lifted off my chest and my cheeks felt hot. What the hell was that? Dude, I really just accepted a random 'date' from some customer. God, I knew my life was a mess but why did it come to this? I walked out of the room and slowly made my way towards the dressing room. My feet were killing me and I couldn't wait to go to sleep tonight. I quickly threw off my heels and this skimpy outfit I was wearing and changed into my sweatpants and hoodie. I grabbed my hat and backpack and nearly sprinted out of the club. Not without saying bye to Cheetah of course.

It was still raining a bit outside when I left, but it wasn't that hard. I made sure I had everything before making my way to the sidewalk that I usually take home.

I still couldn't believe that man gave me that much money, even more now because he wanted to give me more. What an odd man... I knew if I had that money, I probably would do what regular people do and keep it to myself, maybe try and give it to charities. I have no idea... yet that man was nice enough to give me some of his own hard earn money. Well, for something that he really shouldn't be spending it on, but that's his own decision.

I felt something slam against my head and grab my arm. My vision blurred and my head hurt like hell. A man in all black pulled me into a dark alley and placed a knife against my throat. His brown eyes pierced my own and it only just now occurred to me what situation I was in...

"Hey! Leave her alone!"
