"Mom! Can you help me with this?" I shouted from my room. A minute later, the door opened. Mom stood there and raised an eyebrow. I grinned cheekily. "What is it, sweetheart?" She stood beside my table and looked at what I was doing.
"It's a gift. I want to make it for someone but I don't know what else to do." Here's the thing. Someone's birthday was coming up and it seems like nobody celebrates it or doesn't bother to remember. I was hoping to give it to her.
"Who's this for?" She asked curiously. I wiggled my eyebrows at her. "It's a secret." she rolled her eyes but smiled anyway. "Come on! Help me? Please?" I gave her my famous seal face pout. She chuckled before nodding her head.
"You might need to get some celestial bronze from Hephaestus and a few precious metals from your father, preferably sapphire, emeralds, rubies and gold," she said while she looked at my artwork.
I nodded my head and decided to get it tomorrow. For today, I'll continue finishing my design. "Okay. Thanks, mom!" She smiled at me and ruffled my hair. I swatted her hand jokingly away and continued drawing.

"Hey, Cousin Hephaestus? Can I have some celestial bronze?" I asked while helping him to finish building one of his drones. Why he's building a drone, I don't know. He looked up at me and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm using it for something." he chuckled when I said it. "Alright, I'll transfer it there by today." I grinned widely. I actually thought that he would not agree. Well, that's one problem solved.
"Thanks!" There was a buzzing in front of me. I looked down and saw the drone vibrating. I tilted my head at it. "Uh... Cousin Hephaestus? Is the drone suppose to vibrate?" He turned around and picked up the drone, clicked a few buttons and it flew from his hand. "Cool!" The drone flew around before landing back on the table. Hephaestus smiled at me and said, "You did it." I gave him my biggest smile.
"Well, I do have you to thank for. You taught me how to build and fix things," he chuckled and ruffled my hair. People seem to like to do that a lot.

"Dad! I need your help!" He looked up and raised an eyebrow. "Can I borrow some sapphires, rubies, emeralds and gold?" I asked quickly.
"Sure." his hands were raised in front of him and the gems started popping from the ground. I grinned. "Thanks! You're the best!" I quickly collected them with his help. "Why do you need them for?" He asked curiously too.
"I'm making something for someone as a gift because no one seems to remember or celebrate her birthday," I explained. He nodded his head and I thanked him again before bringing it back to my room. I carried the basket onto the table and started with the celestial bronze.
The big block of celestial bronze was in front of me. I closed my eyes and concentrated. Ever since dad adopted me, I could shadow travel and control precious metals. It was a cool trick. I thought of what I wanted and opened my eyes. I've been practising with other things so that it would be perfect. I peeked one eye praying hard that it looked good.
It was perfect. I grinned. "YES!"
"Percy, quiet down." I heard my mother say from the other room.
"Sorry mom," I shouted from my room. I did it. I looked at my artwork and then back to the figurine. The hardest part was the gems. Oh well. I'll try anyway. I picked up the first one.
A sapphire.
It glittered under the light from the ceiling. Reflecting light onto the wall. Blue translucent triangles decorated my walls coming from the sapphire. I smiled and started pasting it.
