Sitting on the stairs I see a little girl. Her curly brown hair tied up in a neat bun. She has cookies stuffed in her mouth. Crumps from the cookies falling to the ground. She looks up and sees me.

"Shsss." She looked around. "Don't tell mommy."

"why would I?" I ask as a smile creesps up to my lips.

I shift in my bed, trying to find a comfortable position. My mouth feels so dry. So, I open my eyes and sits up straight. A sudden pain goes up from my stomach making me wide awake. I scream.

Tears are spilling from my eyes. Two nurses' bursts into my room. A male and female. And yesterday's events rush back to me

"What happened?" Askes the male nurse.

Realizing that the question was pointed to me, I speak. "I sat up." I wipe my tears.

The female nurse walks towards me as the other exits. She wore the usual nurse's uniform. Her dirty blonde hair tied up in a high neat bun. Her brown eyes filled with concern. High cheek bones making her face look oval. Her teeth biting her thin lips. The badge on her breast pocket saying 'Anne Rae'.

I turned my head from the nurse and look around, hoping to find Grandma

But she was not there.

"She went to your home to bring you cloths and stuff." She said noticing the look on my face.

"Oh. When will she be back?" I ask Nurse Ann.

"Probably by noon." She says that and leaves the room. Till noon, I'll be alone. I move the bed covers from me finding myself in hospital gowns. I swing my legs off the bed and my feet hits me floor. I catch the bed for support, steadying myself. After gaining back my balance I walk towards the window on the left side of the bed.

Pressing my head against the window, I think to what I remember from my fall. Blood. Warm, Sticky, Liquid blood. I don't remember anything about falling. But there was glass. And some words. Three words to be exact.

Sorry, my fault and um.... Jadey?

Doesn't make any sense and Jadey? Was someone calling me?

There were red and blue lights. Probably ambulance and police car. Wait. How can an ambulance come into my house? Grandma told I fell inside the house. And I remember laying on a road. Is there some lies or is my memories mixed?

I sigh and the ringing comes back into my ears.

But before can rub my ear, someone knocks on the door. I turn around, finds Nurse Anne holding some food in a tray.
