I chuckled as Alyssa literally sucked the cookies down her throat. "Calm down, you might choke." I chuckled.
She blushed and started nibbling on a cookie. I hit her upside the head and laughed. "Smart ass." She laughed and stuck her tongue out before taking a bite of the cookie.
I took a sip of the cold, white milk and smiled. "Wanna do something?" I giggled. She nodded and turned to me. "Like what?" She asked.
"Hmm..." I mumbled. "A board game maybe?" I laughed at how old board games were. She smiled and nodded. "Sure. What games ya' got?" She asked.
"Life, Yahtzee, Monopoly, Te-" she cut me off before I could say anymore games by yelling 'Monopoly'. I laughed and nodded. "That's my favorite too." I smiled and got down from the bed and crawled under my bed.
I pulled the board game from under my bed and sat back down on the bed. She smiled and situated herself so that she was in a comfortable sitting position.
I opened the blue box with the man printed on the front to see a board, game pieces, miniature houses, cards and money. I took the money holder out and placed the money in it in order. She reached and grabbed the dog. "Mine!" She giggled. I laughed and grabbed the car. After I did that, I put the cards on the board and rolled the dice.
"One." I mumbled. She laughed and rolled her dice, getting a six. "How?!" I squeaked. She laughed and rolled her dice again. It landed on 4 and she moved four spaces.
We played until we ran out of money and shared many laughs. Alyssa made me happy. I hadn't been that happy in my entire life. All I knew was that, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
"What do you think of gay rights?" I asked quietly and randomly. She smiled at me and began, "I totally agree with gay rights. I'm bisexual myself." My heart skipped a beat and I smiled uncontrollably "Also, you honestly can't help it. You don't just wake up one day and decide to be 'gay'. Either you're born like it or something occurs in your life that makes you feel the way you do." She added.
"I'm lesbian." I smiled.
