I smiled widely when Sky told me she liked girls. 'I actually have a chance!' I thought happily. Sky mentioned the guitar lessons and I smiled. "Yeah. Could we do them now?" I asked hopefully. She nodded and I smiled.

I pulled out my two acoustic guitars and handed her my brown one. I held the smooth black guitar in my hand.
Once she got settled I played the strings as she watched. She copied the movements of my fingers and slowly got it. 'Damn she's a quick learner..' I thought.
She scooted closer to me and I blushed. She smiled over at my with glistening white teeth. I smiled back and continued to play my guitar with her.
"Is there a right way for how this goes?
You've got your friends
And you've got your foes
They want a piece of something hot
Forget your name like they forgot
Oh, ain't that something?"
I sang and she smiled, singing with me.
"Some wanna see you crash and burn
And criticize your every word
I'm trying to keep from going insane
Ain't that the way of this whole damn thing
Oh, trying to be something more
Nobody's gonna love you if
You can't display a way to capture this
Nobody's gonna hold your hand
And guide you through
No it's up for you to understand
Nobody's gonna feel your pain
When all is done
And it's time for you to walk away
So when you have today
You should say all that you have to say"
We looked over at each other and smiled. We suddenly bursted into a fit of giggles. Her phone buzzed and she got it out of her pocket. She sighed as she read the text message.
"I gotta go. My dad just got home." She smiled and put my guitar on my bed. "Thanks for the good time, cookies, and guitar lessons." She laughed. "Oh! And here's my number." She blushed lightly and handed me a small white piece of paper.
I smiled up at her. "You're welcome." I blushed and put her number in my phone. "Be safe getting home." I yelled after her as she walked downstairs. She turned around and nodded. "Thanks!" She giggled before leaving and walking to her house.
I sighed, walked back into my room, and fell back on my bed. I squeezed my eyes shut and opened them quickly, thinking, 'is this love?'.
