That's My Limit

Chapter 1

My name is Kadence Smith. I have a bestfriend, his name is Calum. I'm 15, hes 18. I skipped a couple of grades so i'm in the same grade  as Calum. I like him but he has a girlfriend, Aaliyah. I hate her. She hates me, but I really dont care. Every time I see her shes with Calum. When she sees me she tries to make me jealous in front of Calum. Well I have to get this day started. Ugh

*Beep Beep Beep*

"Uuh!" I groan. I slowly get up and make my way to the bathroom to shower. After my shower I go to my closet to pick out my outfit. It was a brownish grayish dress and a little vest to go over the dress, a brownish grayish purse, and the same color heels, and some accessories, and I curled my hair. I checked my phone and it was 7:23am I go out for my bus at 8:30. So I decided too go out to my bus, I grab my bag and phone and head downstairs. I call out to my mom and dad and tell them i'm leaving. As I walk out my door I look over at Calum's house and I see him and Aaliyah kissing. Ugh. Aaliyah seen me and pulled Calum closer to her. I rolled my eyes and kept walking hoping Calum wouldn't see me. "Kaaaaadie!" he calls "oh no" I mutter. I turn around and wave at him ignoring Aaliyah. He motions me to come over I shake my head and turn back around. I run to the bus stop. I get on the bus and look out the window. "Hey" I look over and see my friend Michael. "Hi" I mutter. "Whats wrong?" he asks "Nothing" I tell him. He sits by me and says "Is it Calum?" I look over at him and say "How'd you-" but before I could finish my sentence Calum and Aaliyah approach us. "What are you guys talking about?" Calum asked. "Nothing" me and Michael say in sync. "I'll talk to you later about it" Michael tells me. "Alright" I reply. Calum looks between me and Michael before turning around and sitting down with Aaliyah.

We get off the bus and Michael yells "See you later Kadie!" I just wave not wanting to yell across the field. As I continue walking inside the school I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a chin on my shoulder I turn my head and its Calum. "Why did you run away from me back at the house?" I sigh "I thought I was going to miss the bus." I tell him "I didn't" he explains "Yeah but-" once again I get cut off by Aaliyah approaching us. "You left me!" She whines. I roll my eyes and continue to walk faster, trying to get away from them but Calum just hugged me tighter. "Calum" I whisper to him "What?" he whispers back "Let go of me" I order. "No" he says "Something is bothering you and i'm going to find out what it is." he tells me. "Nothing is bothering me now let go" I demand. "Calummmm!" Aaliyah whines I huff really loud. "Calum looks at me and then turns to Aaliyah. "We'll talk later" He whispers to me "No we will not" I whisper back and break free from his grip. "Kadie!" I hear him call but I just keep walking. As I enter the school I reach my locker and put my bag in it and get my books out of my bag then I close my locker and turn around to Aaliyah towering over me.

I just stare at her waiting for her to say something. "You need to stay out of me and Calums way!" she declares "No" I simply say "He was my bestfriend before he was your boyfriend." I explain "So" she annoyingly tells me. "Whatever" I tell her back. I try and walk past her but she stands in my way and pushes me down making my books and papers go everywhere. "I just glare at her before trying to gather up my books and papers. as I was getting my books I see Calum turn the corner and Aaliyah get down on her knees so quickly helping me gather my books I stop what i'm doing and watch Calum as he comes towards us. "What happend?" he asks "Aaliyah-" I tried to tell him what happend but Aaliyah cut me off. "I came around the corner and I seen Kadies books and papers everywhere so I decided to help her." Aaliyah explains. I just stare at her then at Calum seeing if he would believe her. Sure enough he did. "Kadie your so clumsy." He says helping me and Aaliyah ather my books and papers. "No i'm not" I spit at him. I see Aaliyah smirk at the corner of my eye. As we all stand up I snatch my books and papers from them both and walk away but Calum grabs my wrist and turns me around. I just stare at him. "Whats wrong" he asks me "Ask Aaliyah" I tell him softly and walk away leaving him in the hallway.
