Chapter 2

2 months later-

Buzz buzz buzz

I look down at my phone to see a new text message from Niall.

From: Nialler

aye. were coming over right now. look decent

I just laughed at my friend. Over the past two months since I have lived next door to One Direction nothing that major has happend. I was best friends with all of the boys. I didnt get to see them that often since they have interviews, photoshoots and they have been recording a lot too. I was really excited for them, they have a new album coming out next month and theyve been working so hard.

The front door swings open and in walks Niall and the rest of the lads. They all greet me with hugs before seperating. Niall goes into the kitchen, Harry, Liam and Zayn went into the living room and turned on the t.v. Louis stayed with me by the door.

"So Bethy when do we get to meet Luke?" He says while waggling his eyebrows.

"Actually Louis he said he wanted to come by today so you can meet him then!" I say excitedly.

"Has Luke been treating you right? Do I have to kick his ass" Louis says while crossing his arms over his chest with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Louis. I have been dating Luke for about a year. I love him and you willl not be kicking his ass!" I smirk this time.

"Then how come weve never met him before?" Lou says,

"He has been touring around France for the last month and I'm really excited to see him! I've missed him so much!" I say,

"Oh okay! When is he coming by? I'll go tell the other lads were meeting him." Just as Louis says that my phone beeps in my pocket.

Hey, im in the driveway

"Louis, lads Lukes here!"' I yell across the flat.

The boys all walk into the dining room. the door bell rings and I open the door and jump in his arms. He hugs me and kisses me on the forehead. But i notice it's not the same closeness we usually share, its diffrent its forced. I don't like this.

I grab Lukes hand and bring him into the dining room and introduce him to all the lads. He looks suprised that theres five gorgeous guys in my apartment, but he doesnt look jealous or overprotective like normal.

"Beth you didnt tell me there was gonna be people here.." He whispers so only i can hear. I turn to him and whisper back,

"there like my brothers its fine."

"Can we talk?' He whispers.

"Lads I will be right back me and Luke are going to go talk in my room. Don't burn down my house." I say before pulling Luke into my room and shutting the door.

"Look Beth, this is going to be hard to say. I love you and you know that. But something happend while I was in France" I glance up at him and he looks like he is about to cry. "I was at a cafe and I met this girl. I'm sorry Bethy but I think I love her and I can't do this anymore. Us. were not working. I love her and I'm sorry that I cheated on you. Maybe one day you will forgive me. I'm sorry. Bye bethy" His voice cracks at the end.

"don't call me Bethy only my friends can do that" I hiss at him. He walks out of the door, out of my life.

I don't believe this. I loved him, he was my first serious boyfriend, we were going to move into an apartment together, we were going to travel to Italy one day. And now hes gone. I walk out of bedroom with tears spilling and pouring out of my eyes.

"Bethy! WHATS WRONG?!" Niall says while pulling me into a hug, I honestly forgot the boys were still here.

I just sit there and sob into his chest. He picks me up and brings me to the couch. He sits me down next to him and I cry on his shoulder. While I was in my room Zayn left to go meet up with Perrie, Liam, Harry, Louis and Niall sat there letting me cry while rubbing my back and shoulders trying to make me feel better. after crying for an hour my eyes are swollen and my face is red.

"Luke...he..cheated...on..me.." I burst into tears again. Niall pulls me into a hug while Liam says encouraging things like "He was no good, and I was better than him and he doesnt deserve me" Harry and Louis are cussing about what a douche he is and how theyre going to kick his ass. I stop crying.

2 weeks later

The last two weeks all I have done is cry, eat and watch movies with the lads. Today is the day I am going to stop moping about Luke. Fuck him I am done being sad when he is walking around and is happy. I am done with him and this bull shit.

I pick up my phone and ring Niall.

Nialls Pov

I look down at my phone and see that Bethy is calling me. I gladly answer it.

"Hey Bethy!" I smile into the phone

"Hey Nialler" I could tell she was smiling too

"So whats up? How ya feeling today?"

"I am feeling a lot better Niall, i have decided I am done with that asshole" YES FINALLY I HATE THAT GUY. I hate that he caused my best friend pain and to cry, I can't stand when she crys. It's like watching a puppy whimper when they get seperated from you.

"YAY! GO BETH! Why don't you come over me and the lads are about to watch a few movies. Wear your pjs you're sleeping over too!"

"Okay be there in a few!" I hang up the phone and walk out of room to where the lads are waiting for me.

Okay maybe I had small feelings for Beth. I see her almost every day. Who wouldn't love her slender body, with her bright green eyes and freckles on her cheeks and nose. She is so adorable. She is so kind, and I love her sarcasm and cleverness. They way she laughs at everything, the way she gets so excited over the smallest things. The way her face lights up when she plays the guitar. Another bonus! woah. Niall you need to calm down, she proabably doesn't even like you.

The door flys open and in walks Beth wearing short pajama shorts and a Michael Buble concert shirt. Can she get anymore perfect?

"NIALLLL!!!" She yells while running and jumping into my arms. ugh she smells amazing. I mentally slapped myself. I need to take a chill pill and relax. I hug her back.

We walk into the family room, she hugs all of the boys and sits next to Harry leaning her head on his shoulder. Not in a romantic way but in a friendly best friend way. What is this feeling in my stomach? Is it jealousy? I push the thought out of my head and sit next to her. she puts her legs and feet across my lap.

After watching two movies we decide to go to play a game of somesort. We decide upon hide and go seek. we split up into teams. Me and Liam, Zayn and Louis and Harry and Beth. Me and Liam are it. We start to count to 100

1....2.....3.....4........5.....6................................................100
