chapter 22

Elsa's POV

"Elsa?" I heard a knock in my door. I quickly wiped away my tears and walked over to the door. I put my hand on the handle but quickly regretted it and pulled my hand back and held it against my chest. Tears escaped my blue eyes as i slid down the door and held my legs against my chest. "Do you wanna come out and play?" i heard my little sister Anna say.

I took a deep breath and cleared my throat. "Go away Anna." i said. I heard her sigh of disapointment which only made my already broken heart break more.

"Okay." she sighed. "Bye." her hand brushed over the door and i heard her footsteps fade away. I hit my head back on the door as some tears spilled my eyes.

That was the year our parents had died in a plane crash. We were pretty young. I think i took it the hardest. I wouldn't come out of my room and i'd barely eat and i wouldn't communicate with anybody. People would pity me. They'd come and feel sorry for me. Tell me that they were sorry for my loss and leave.

I was diagnosed with depression awhile later. We were put in foster home's after foster home. Nobody really wanted us. Or me to be specific. But Anna wouldn't let them seperate us. Over the years i stopped crying. I'd drown myself in music and just lay there kind of feeling numb. Just waiting for the depression to eat me alive.

"Elsa!" i shifted. "Elsa wake up!" My eyes fluttered as i tried to recap what had just happened.

another nightmare.

i sighed and rubbed my eyes. "Are you okay?" Merida asked me. I nodded quickly and exited the car.

"Where the hell are we?" i asked as i looked around we were literally nowhere. "This is where Hans lives?" i asked.

"No, but we can't like make it obvious we came to find him." Jack spoke.

"And we're almost out of gas so," Rapunzel said. I rolled my eyes and started walking. I really wish i wasn't wearing fancy clothes at the moment.

"Okay so where is it then?" i asked.

"Over there in that forest thing." she pointed forward and i nodded as we all walked in that direction.

"How do we get in?" i whispered as we all hid behind bushes.

"We can knock." Hiccup shrugs and we all give him the 'are you serious' look "what? he might answer!" we all roll our eyes and look around the house.

"There's a door to the basement in the back." Rapunzel said and we all looked at her shocked. "What! i used to come here  a lot back-" she stopped "Never mind that lets go get Anna!" she said and we all nodded as we followed her to the back.

"Wait! guys," Merida said and we all turned to her." I don't feel comfortable going in there, I'll stay out here and keep watch." she said. I hugged her before turning back around.

"It's stuck." I said as I violently pulled on the door knob hoping it'll open. "what do we do now?" I asked. We all exchanged glances.

"we can't just break in, He'll hear us come in." Hiccup said.

"a window!" I said.

"Ooh I got this!!" Rapunzel said and grabbed a rock and threw it at the window causing it to shatter into a million pieces.

"Rapunzel! that was loud!" I whisper yelled. She shrugged and I rolled my eyes. "watch our for the glass." she mumbled but it was too late. It tore right through my dress and I felt warm liquid run down my leg. I hissed silently.

"Elsa are you okay?" Jack asked and I nodded. He didn't seem convinced but we didn't have time to argue  "Holy crap!" he mumbled as we went inside. "What is all this?" He asked as we admired his small collection.

"Junk." Rapunzel mumbled and kept on walking. I payed close attention to my surroundings and came upon a small glass case. There were a lot of different fragile things. All very beautiful and breathtaking.

"Why would he keep these here next to all this junk?" i asked myself. I tried opening the case but realized i needed a key. I huffed and kept on walking but something caught my eye. It was a charm bracelet just laying there next to all the other fragile things. There was a shiny red apple, a golden flower and a bow. There were some other ones too but i couldn't really tell their shape. I think one was a castle but i wasn't sure.

"Elsa! hurry!" Jack said and i snapped out of my thoughts and hurried to catch up to them. "Okay so me and Elsa will look upstairs while the rest of you stay down here." Jack ordered and we all just nodded.

We walked through the halls quietly making sure not to be noticed. I could feel my leg burn with every step that i took but i just shrugged it off and kept on walking. "How do we know where they're at?" i asked Jack. He simply shrugged. I sighed and we walked. We came upon the stairs and i gulped. I was scared of what might await.

"Ready?" he asked and i slowly nodded as i sighed nervously. Through the door at the top of the stairs you could tell that the lights were on, meaning someone was up there

waiting for us.

 

Anna's POV

"w-what?" i hear my voice crack. He smirked and chuckled.

"Oh, you still don't get it do you?" he asks. I stare at him in confusement. "I never liked you, if anything i pitied you. A naive little girl trying to find herself in a world filled with arogant teenagers. Just trying to fit in." he said. I could feel my eyes water. "And you were stupid enough to fall for me"

"I-I don't understand." i said.

"Of coarse what could i possibly want from you?" he said totally avoiding my question. "My first approach was your sister, Elsa. But no one was getting anywhere with her. And then there were you." He smirked as he walked around the room.

"But i'm bored now so you are of no use." he Says and gets a knife out from behind him.

"H-Hans?" i whimpered as i tried to scoot back.

"Let's play Anna." He grins evilly and takes one step towards me.

I am so sorry for the delay!!!!!! I was going to update earlier like on Tuesday but finding Carter happened, (did anyone watch it btw????) then i had homework to do and we practically spent our whole week at my aunts house cause my grandma likes it over there.

But i know there are no excuses for what i did so

SO other than that i hoped you enjoyed your chapter:)

soooo I made dinner yesterday and i didn't make anything explode this time so congratulate me!!! lol im jk don't  haha it's cause this one time i made my microwave explode- (It's a long story and you guys probably don't wanna hear it.XD)

 Ummmm yeah thats it lol next update on Monday or Sunday idk depends lol so yerp
