Leaves hit my face and the wind rushes past me with loud roaring sounds. My feet make loud crunching noises as I flee through the forest. The approaching steps behind me get closer and closer.
My legs burn almost as badly as my eyes. I quickly blink away tears as I continue to run. I hear my rapid heart beat in my ears.
Suddenly, my face is in the ground. The soft, damp grass tickles my nose and my ankle throbs. The footsteps behind me turns to heavy breathing and I hold my breath hoping I won't be heard. I fell a hand wrap around my left ankle, then my right, to which makes me yelp.
As my body is then dragged across the forests rough ground, I desperately claw at the ground grasping at anything I could. My stomach is now completely exposed and slides over something sharp. Then a warm sensation runs slowly up my spine. With a thump, everting goes dark. I hear nothing but my own ragged breath and my heart beat in my ears.
An engine roars and I'm tossed into something rubbery and large. My heart quickens when I realize I'm in a trunk. My head hits an object that makes a sharp ting sound when the car takes a turn and I feel a latch. My hands are bound, but my feet are not so I kick up my barefoot onto the lever trying to wrap it around my toe. With every twist, my ankle lets out a loud crunch and pain shoots up my leg. The only light in the pit of darkness was the pink glow stick around my neck and wrist not changing the fact that it's too dark to see. My foot finally gets coauthor around the latch and I yank my leg, the latch making an audible pop and the door flies open letting the air rush in. I look over and watch as the road flies past me and jumping is no longer an option. Or so I thought.
The car comes to a sudden stop and I fly out, hitting the pavement. I look up to see the tires of the car and just as I was about to roll out of the way, the car roars once again and throws dust and rocks into my face. I cough and start to stand . When I'm finally upright, I realize that my jeans and shirt are ripped and bloody. My hair feels ratted.
I start to walk away when another pair of headlights comets into my line of sights then with a zoom knocks me off my feet. Everything goes red and green. The traffic lights changing.
Wah wah wahahahaha....
I throw my controller in my hand onto the floor and curse as the boy next to me laughs picking up the controller and presses the start button.
Level one.
