"YOU CRAZY—"

Kotoko tried to scream, but Rei rested her pale hand on his mouth and sighed. He seemed resistant. He thought of a way out, just in case she tries to kill him.

"Darling~! I had to....I'm so sorry..."

Kotoko's eye became misty. They were the only family that He had ever loved! And she just took them away, for all he knows, they could be dead at this very moment. Kotoko grabbed Rei's hand and forced it off of his mouth.

"Don't pull that crap with me! Where is my family?!"

"Shhhh...They'll year you!"

"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHO HEARS ME!!!"

"Kotoko! You're being really unreasonable, right now. Can't we just talk about this? I swear, I didn't do anything bad"

"DON'T YOU DARE LIE TO ME!!! MY FAMILY COULD BE DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!!!"

Rei sat there in silence, she wanted to tell him about what happened. But he just wouldn't listen.

"AND ANOTHER THING!!! I NEVER SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED A COLDBLOODED KILLER LIKE Y—"

Kotoko felt a pressure across his face, causing him to swing his head to the side. Rei had....slapped him.

"Darling. I'm sorry, but if you're not gonna listen to me during this journey, Then we're better off dead" Rei explained, strictly.

Kotoko kept his head to the side. The slap was all he needed to take him back to...her. How many times he had been slapped by her. His head was rushing, and rushing. Then, he started to gag. Then, Cough.

"K-Kotoko" Rei asked, seeing his face get even more blue by the second.

Beautiful roses started to pour out of his mouth, it was terrifying. He had blood all over his face, and mouth. Then, to top it all off. He was probably gonna die like that.

He started to close his eyes until....only the image of Rei scurrying to get him up and into a hospital was showing. He heard voices. It was probably Aiko and Aisuru. Were they helping him?

Kotoko's eye shot open, he was sweating like a crazy person. Everything seemed silent for a few seconds, he was in a dark spot. With two huge doors in the front of the space.

I-is this....a...c-closet? A-Am I still in school?

He couldn't move, but he still tasted dried blood. It was around his mouth, that was kind of disgusting but he was more concerned about Rei. Wasn't she supposed to be protecting him? If she wasn't, did something happen?! DID SHE GET HURT?!

Stop thinking like that. You should be glad that she's dead! She killed your foster parents!!!....Well. She did try to explain herself. And I didn't hear her out. I'm an imbecile...

He tried to stand, but he hit his head on something. It hurt more than usual. So he crawled, and tried to open the two doors, but he failed.

"Damn it!"

Suddenly, Something was thrown at him. Kotoko turned around, swiftly, just to see a green haired girl, she had something around her neck. It looked like a white board.

She put her hands up and started fiddling with them. Each one seemed to make different symbols. It didn't help him understand though.

She rolled her eyes after the fifth time of repeating herself. She grabbed a marker and wrote the words...

Shut up! They'll hear you!

Kotoko was a bit confused, but he went along with it. He thought that she was playing. She thought that he was an idiot.

"Why aren't you speaking? Is there something wrong?" He whispered.

She gave him a look of disgust. She probably had noticed the blood, then she just looked pretty neutral.

She turned the board and wrote...

What do you think? The Sea Witch Stole my voice or something?! I'm mute, you idiot! And what's with the blood on your face?!

Kotoko frowned and ignored the question. He just needed to get out of there, he didn't need her insults, and she definitely didn't deserve his time.

He turned back around and tried to open the doors again. Then, he heard sounds that were similar to someone unsheathing a sword. The green haired girl grabbed his mouth and watched the door in terror as they both heard these words...

"I'm going to get my Darling back. Even if it kills me, or anyone else for that matter!"

I need to tell her that I'm okay, or else someone will die!

Kotoko, despite the surprising strength that the girl had, reached out towards the door. The girl, suddenly, let go and caused Kotoko to go barreling forward, with her on top of him.

The door shot open and showed the mute girl, on top of him.

"....K-K-K...."

Rei began to squeak like a rubber duck. It was kind of weird, usually she'd kill SOMEONE or SOMETHING.

Kotoko watched as the green haired girl shot up on to her feet and tried to explain. But all that came out was...air.

"What? What is it..."

"WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF?!?!?"

The girl looked for her board, to find that it was near Rei's foot. She pointed at her mouth, then the board. Rei looked at it, her tears pouring onto the base of it.

CRACK!

Before The girl could even gesture at it. The board was in pieces. The girl seemed angry, she tried to explain but....It wasn't enough for her.

"Rei.....You shouldn't have done that. That was mean. She's mute. How could you not realize that?"

"Kotoko, Honey. Not N—"

"No! Have you lost your mind?! It's not okay to treat people like that, especially not my friends..." He scolded

Rei looked at Kotoko, then at the girl.

"I'm sorry, Honey. But We have to go...."

"F—-...Fine. But only on one condition..." he negotiated. "Where are my Parents?"

Rei's eyes became a soft blue. She seemed....sympathetic towards Kotoko. Like she hadn't done anything.

Rei walked past him and into her room. It was hard to tell if she was mad or sad. Anyway, Kotoko and the girl went downstairs and tried to look for anything to fight off anyone. They were getting out of that house. No matter the cost....
