For the next few hours, the children had run around Björn laughing and hiding while he tried to find them. He fed them, even though Agnetha already had done so before she brought them over. All the things he had done since she left were only to busy himself, because his mind was running around with thoughts of Agnetha meanwhile physically running after his children.
What had happened to Björn was surreal. He was alone and couldn't stand another minute of it– not when he knows he and Agnetha belong together.
He couldn't erase her image from his mind when she stood before him, tall and bright. Her eyes were sparkling and dazzling and spiked a fire in his heart each moment he remembered them. She looked soft and delicate waiting for Björn to say something, but he never spoke what he needed to tell her.
"Papa," Christian spoke. "Where's Lena?"
"Uh, well... she's on a trip, too." Björn didn't know how to tell his children at this point. He hadn't even figured it out for himself altogether.
He suddenly picked up the phone and dialed his parents home, but there wasn't an answer. He tried his sister Eva's number, but there was also no one to pick up the phone. He closed the line impatiently knowing the time was ticking for him. There's an hour before the train departs.
I have an hour, he reminded himself. There wasn't a way Björn could keep himself from confessing that he is still madly in love with her. He had to tell her before she leaves.
"Let's go for a ride," he said to the kids who screamed in excitement. He helped both into the car and sped to the studio, knowing Benny, Frida and Stig were all there working on a few things even without Björn and Agnetha. Someone had to.
"Well, well. Look who decided to show up," Benny said. He laughed not understanding why Björn had missed the last few days and even ignored phone calls, too.
"With the kids? A lovely surprise," Frida said with open arms. Linda and Christian ran to her in smiles.
"Anyone know where Agnetha is headed exactly? I need to speak to her," Björn spoke in a rush startling the rest.
"Yes. Oslo," she paused. "Why what's happened."
"I need to tell her that I still love her and beg her forgiveness. I also need someone to look after the kids. My parents won't answer."
"Björn," Benny sighed. "Think about this. Think about what you're doing," he stood ready to keep him from doing something stupid, not knowing of what happened.
"I'll explain later, I need to leave. I'm running out of time."
"Well, go!" Stig encouraged. "What are you waiting for. I'll watch the kids." Stikkan was the man who would be first to support the relationship of Björn and Agnetha. To him, both were like his children. Encouraged by his words, Björn hurried off to his car and to the train station while his colleagues shared looks to one another.
All knew that Björn was an impatient, impulsive, stubborn man when he had his heart set on something. However, he would never do something without analyzing and over analyzing.
When Björn arrived to the station he checked the time for the thirtieth time in that same hour. He only had ten minutes to find her, only ten minutes to reclaim her as his. He was reconsidering, thinking this is not going to work out. The odds were against him. He hurt her many times and now she's with the man who makes her life lighter, why should she return to Björn?
He pushed his doubts aside and continued his search, spinning in circles. There were people greeting and people departing. Many business people with their brief bags, some with suitcases and many faces of laughter or conductors talking through speakers.
