"Eleonor, wake up. You slept all day, a girl shouldn't sleep that much. You have so much work to do." My mother said loud enough to give me the third headache of the day, the other two caused by my siblings.
"Ok! Ok, mom give me five minutes and I will clean my room!" I muttered before I felt the sheets being pulled off of my body as soon as I tried to close my eyes to go back to sleep. That move made me understand that I had already used my "five minutes" pass enough times that morning.
I started cleaning up my room and placed in the right places all the objects in the boxes that were laying on my bedroom floor. We were there from almost two weeks and I still needed to arrange my room.
I finished to put all my crap where it belonged and I sat down on my bed to stare at the picture of me and my ex-boyfriend, our last happy moment together. It was a long time ago and after that relationship ended I couldn't fall for anyone. I had been in other relationships after me and him broke up, but it would end before we would even realize it. I would start acting differently as soon as my mind would crave more and more contact, the next thing you know they would leave me for a bigger deal or simply to not put up with my shit.
Tears started to run on my cheeks for the zillionth time but as soon as I heard my twin brother's footsteps coming I quickly wiped them all away. I hid the photo under my pillow and grabbed my phone to pretend to text somebody, I heard him stop in front of my entrance. Two quick knocks against it.
"You can come in T! " I hollered so that he would hear me.
He came in the room and smiled, just to sympathize, he exactly knew what was happening before that moment. To my surprise this time he decided to ignore the fact and sat next to me.
"Really nice, I like your place more than mine " he said after scanning my territory and seeing the small polaroid sticking a bit out of under the pillow, "Do you have plans for tomorrow? I wanted to rent some movies from the library and after, maybe, have a tour around here to explore our new home a little better. What do you think? ". He looked at me waiting for an answer.
I bit my lower lip and nodded quickly. "It's a great idea, we can go in the afternoon." I lied, I didn't want to but, I had to do it or he'd begged me until I'd feel bad and please me.
"You're gonna be fine. Trust me. It's just a quick drive ". He announced with a smirk on his face and walked out of my room, closing the door behind his back.
