Itachi sighed. He was now a normal jonin commander and in the Hokage's office.

"Please hokage-sama...may I make a request?" Itachi asked, never moving from his kneeling position in front of the Hokage's desk.

Minato nodded. "Make it quick, I'm still deciding team placements..."

"That's actually why I'm here. I request to be the jonin sensei of Naruto and Sasuke." Itachi replied as he stood.

Minato looked at Itachi astonished. Emotions ripped through him like lightning. "It was you...you helped them get that strong?"

Itachi nodded slowly. "Yes. They're both prodigies unlike anything I've ever seen. Your son is actu-"

"I'll grant your request on one condition." Minato interrupted, pulling a set of papers from his stack and signing them before turning them to Itachi to sign.

Itachi smiled. "Name it."

"I want your third pupil to be Karah." Minato said evenly. He may not have succeeded in making Karah stronger than Naruto, but surely under Itachi's tutetutelage she would excel as he had.

"Wouldn't that make our team really overpowered?" Itachi asked curiously.

"It might. I'll admit, but you trained Naruto with less time but he's already stronger than Karah, and I've been training her for longer. I honestly suspect you could do the same with Karah." Minato explained.

Itachi knew Naruto wouldn't be happy but it was the only way, any port in a storm and all that. "Thank you, Hokage-sama..."

Naruto passed out in the training ground after a long day of training.

"Naruto... My descendant you must wake up."

Naruto's eyes shot open. "Who's there?"

An elderly man with horns and a staff appeared in front of him.

There was nothing around them for miles, everything was black and a slight wind was blowing through.

"Hello Naruto...who I am is unimportant, I simply offer you a gift. A gift that has been lost to mankind for a very long time..." He held out his hand.

Naruto studied his hand. "What's the gift?"

"A power that was limited to my brother and I. We used it to save the world many times. What I offer you is a special form of chakra. I feel you will require it to save the world. Will you accept this gift, Child of Prophecy?" The man extended his hand a little more.

Naruto nodded with determination. "I accept." Then Naruto grabbed his hand, power filled his body to the brim and beyond.

Naruto screamed in pain as he fainted, power still growing inside him. For a brief moment Naruto's chakra became yellow.

When Naruto woke in the field he lifted his hand to block the sun from his eyes, immediately noting a white marking on the back of his right hand like a small circle. It looked almost like a small full moon, or maybe a sun.

Naruto pulled himself to his feet, as Sasuke walked onto the field. Naruto cut his eyes to him, immediately disregarding the past few minutes as just a dream.

"Sup?" Naruto asked. Sasuke stretched his shoulders, "No idea, Itachi-nii said he got us graduation gifts."

"Indeed." They both jumped, Itachi stood next to them now, a small smirk on his face.

"Kami... you nearly gave me a heart attack..." Naruto whined.

Itachi handed him a scroll, "Well, this should more than make up for it. The wind style great breakthrough technique. I figure with your reserves you could create a small hurricane with practice."

"Sasuke, I got you the Fire style combustion clone. Like the shadow clone only no memory ability and the clone-,"

"Explodes?" Itachi nodded at Sasuke's answer.

Sasuke and Naruto grinned at each other and got to work.

Itachi watched the two boys with pride, 'I'll tell them tomorrow...'
