- 3 weeks later-
I walked through the hall of school sad, it has been 3 weeks. 3 weeks of just staring at each other not talking. I missed Jaemin but I couldn't let him see it. I walked to my locker and saw Jaemin I walked past him and felt his eyes on me, I ignored it and opened my locker then I heard Someone calling for me. I turned my head and saw Jaemin calling for me, I ignored him and shut my locker, I kept hearing him say my name but I'd ignore it. I walked to class and sat with Jeno, I began to talk to him to avoid Jaemin. I heard my phone go off I looked at and it was a text from Jaemin asking if I could go to the rooftop during lunch I acted like I didn't see it and proceeded to speak to Jeno
Jaemins pov
She totally ignored my message! I've been trying to get her attention for the last 3 weeks but she seems to busy with Jeno and that makes me irritated. Yea I ended our friendship but I'm trying to get it back! But Jeno keeps getting in the way of it I rolled my eyes as I saw them laughing and smiling. I'm such a idiot I think to my self. I saw naeun come in and I ignored her "Jaemin? Babe? What's wrong?" She says putting her hand on my shoulder. I pushed it away and stood up "let's break up I want nothing to do with you anymore" I say looking at her some students were staring including y/n -and Jeno. "What?" She says. "I said let's break up I'm tired of you trying to make my decision for me. I ended my 5 year friendship with y/n for you! Now I wanna break up cause I can't continue with out her." I say almost yelling. I heard a couple "ooooo" from students from what I said naeun disappears. I looked back at y/n and she just looks at me and then she went to speaking with Jeno. I sighed and thought how I was most likely not gonna have her as a friend again.
Y/n pov
As I heard Jaemin speaking to naeun I sat there in shock. After she left Jaemin looked at me but I looked back at Jeno and continued to speak to him, then finally the lunch bell had rung I quickly grabbed my things with Jeno and walked out the class, at lunch we met up with Renjun. I gave him a big smile and said hi as they were in line I sat at a empty table waiting for the two to get their food as usual until I felt a tap. I looked back and saw Jaemin I pulled out my phone to avoid from talking, "y/n please can we talk." He says to me softly. "There's nothing to talk about so just leave me alone." I said quietly "please y/n I made a mistake." He says taking a seat next to me. I looked at him, I missed him a lot but im still hurt from what he did. I got up and took my stuff heading to the rooftop I texted Jeno to let him know I went somewhere. I sat down and felt tears wanting to fall down and there he was again. "Can you just leave me alone!?" I yell. "No I can't cause you're my best friend and I made a stupid mistake letting naeun get in the way" he says yelling back. "Well that's not my problem you did what you did." I spoke quietly looking down. "Y/n please just one more chance I can't live without my best friend" he says hugging me I didn't hug back. We stayed in the hugging position for 3 mins until I spoke up. "This is your last Na Jaemin" I sighed, he smiled at me " Thank you thank you" He says hugging me tighter.
-2 weeks later-
Me and Jaemin are back to normal I get dirty looks from naeun time to time but I don't care I was just glad I had 4 amazing best friends and by four I mean donghyuck as well, he became my friend from being partners in a project but anyways I was glad to have my main best friend back.
