Nova's POV:
I wake up in my room.It's Monday,I start My new school today!Its been three days since I left the hospital,and I am soo ready for this change.I actually am excited to get up and go to school.I have a smile on my face as I pick out my clothes for today:a light green skater dress,light green converse,and a green braclet that says HOPE.I remember when I got that.
*Flashback*
My mom had just died,and I was home from school.I was eight years old and crying my eyes out.I was still crying when I heard the doorbell.I hear the door opening,talking,then footsteps coming upstairs.My bedroom door opened,and my ten best guy friends came in.
"Hi."I said trying to hold in the tears,it didn't work.
"Nov,it's gonna be okay.We're all here for you."Cameron said sitting next to me.The guys all sat with me and I started to cry.
"I just don't know.Why'd she have to leave?Why couldn't she stay here with me?"I choked out through my sobs.They all put their arms around me.
"It's okay.Hey,can I talk to you?"Hayes said.I followed him into the hallway."I got you something."He said and pulled a green bracelet with the word HOPE on it.I took it,put it on,and hugged him."This is to help you remember to always have hope.There's a reason for everything."He said.I just smiled.
*End of Flashback*
I get out of the shower and change.I curl my hair and grab my light green penny board.I grab a granola bar and head over to Caylea's house.When I get there,I text her that I'm here,and walk into her house.I see her mom,who is more of my second mom.
"Hi mom!"I said giving her a hug.
"Hi sweetie,what's new?"She asked hugging me tight and kissing my forehead.
"Not much,is Caylea ready?"I ask.
"Yea,just go get her from upstairs."She told me.Once I dragg Caylea out of the house,she gets her black penny board,and go.Caylea is wearing a blue dress with black ballet flats.Her hair was curled to.We rode to Sabryna's house and hopped off our boards.We didn't bother texting her,we just walked in.
"Sab let's go!"I yell and hug her dad and mom,my second family.She comes down wearing an orange beach fit dress and nikes.She grabs her orange board and we go to school.

Brent's POV:
I got to school early and didn't see any of my friends there,so I went on my phone.I decided to text Nova.
B:Hey:)
N:Hi are you at school already?
B:Yea,where are you?
N:Almost there,actually turn around:)
I turned around to see Nova,Caylea,and Sabryna riding their penny boards in my direction.They hopped off and walk towards me,penny boards in hand.Nova looked beautiful,and I don't think she wears make up.I guess I was staring because Nova waved her hands in front of my face.
