"-wasn't really doing great, was he?" He heard voices talking. He tried to open his eyes but he couldn't. It was like his eyelids were glued together and his lips forcefully shut.

He couldn't speak or look, just listen. Like he was spying on whoever were talking.

"No, his friends-" He recognised his teachers voice. Slight concern rimming at the edge, "-had reported to me that something had been wrong and yesterday morning I was told he was sick with a fever.

"When they went to check up on him during lunch they had found him passed out in the bathroom of his dorm. That's all I know." Aizawa took a deep breath and sighed. "I'm sorry I can't tell you anymore mrs. Kaminari. I wish I could." His mother was with him in the room. He must've been in the infirmary. This was terrible! He had to do something, show that he was okay! Even though he wasn't.

Again he tried to open his eyes, this time feeling like it was working. His eyes opened to little slits, his eyelids tearing a little from eachother, the sticky feeling remaining when he blinked, blurry sight in his vision. Everything was white as he only could look up. He groaned as he tried to move his hands so he could sit up.

"Denki! My dear, you're awake!" He was soon enclosed with two arms around him, "Do you even know how worried I was? When I got a call saying you passed out I rushed over here and-" Denki's mom wouldn't stop talking about how worried she was. Aizawa smiled half a smile, thankful he woke up, glad that his student was safe in general.

"M-mom..." He couldn't make the words he thought of fit in a sentence that would fit the occasion, but she did shut up. "I... W-where do I b-begin..." His mother had a hopeful look in her eyes. Aizawa left the room after thinking up an excuse. Kaminari's eyes filled with tears. His mom engulfed him in another hug as he cried, shushing him occasionally and rubbing his back.

"I just don't know what to say... I get so worried over you my dear." His mom grabbed Denki's shoulders and held them loosely as she moved him from her shoulder. "I'm guessing you also don't know what happened?" It was a question, not a statement. Denki shook his head visibly but not very much, his head did already hurt. He opened his mouth and tried to say that he did but no sound came out. He felt another tears roll over his cheek. He closed his eyes and looked down.

"I do know what happened." He had softly muttered it but his mother understood as she hugged her son.

She said she'd wait for him to be ready to tell her as it must've been pretty personal. She was a really good mother and en even better friend. She left the room, Turning her head to smile at him. He smiled back.

Aizawa came back into the room and sat down in the chair, his elbows on his knees and his head leaning on his intertwined fingers. "Look I already know the Hanahaki thing. That is what happened isn't it?" Kaminari nodded, "Right. So... What are you going to do now?"

Kaminari looked down at his lap. "I don't know... Maybe I should talk to Sero? I'd get surgery, but the financial state my family's in wouldn't get any better if I did that..." Aizawa nodded. He understood.

Aizawa's tone didn't conceal any of his concern, he left the role of teacher behind him a little and started talking. "What if I'll talk to Sero? It'll be more..." Aizawa looked for the right words so he wouldn't hurt Kaminari, "Straight to the point. It'd be easier for you-"

"No! I can't let you do that. It's my problem and my problem only, if you did it you'd get even more involved. I don't want that." Not anymore.
