Every night she prayed and cried out for someone to come and rescue her but no one heard her pleas then she bowed down in Sujood and asked Allah to send someone because this was too much it was unbearable. She always spoke the truth in fact on their face rather than behind their back. Once she was about to go to the media people to expose them they caught her red-handed and tortured her. Were people really this mean?

She was placed in a small room with a single coach and a glass of water, which she drank slowly, without any assistance from anyone.

"Were the rules fair?" She would often question herself while gazing out her window at the serene sky.

She should have been providing for and living with her own family by now, but because of her parents' financial situation when she was born, they gave her up to a stranger who needed a child. When they realized she was not ready for adulthood and that she was a girl, they also wanted revenge, so they mistreated her in every way possible. Little did they know, though, that her parents never inquired about her again.

When she stood at the door and peered through the small window, she could hear the voices that were always there in this house—voices of laughter and joy.

Everything about her screamed expensive, and she hoped that someone would notice her—anyone would have been grateful—but nobody did.

Salma:

***Night****
While I was done praying Isha it was already 9 pm I was told to wait until everything was over.

"Go and clean the mess," he said without glancing my way, he was head of family Ayaaz and his wife Malika they had taken me since I was baby but never did I get the love they had promised to my parents.

I came to know when I was ten that him and my dad were family friends.

I shrugged all the thoughts away and continued cleaning I pulled sleeves up since I always wore long sleeves to hide bruises.

"I have never seen you before?" an unfamiliar voice scared the daylights of me and I just jumped backwards while the plate fell into tiny pieces from my hand and I shut my eyes tightly calming myself for while.

I didn't glance up even once and moved down to pick broken pieces all while sensing someone gaze on me.
I had ignored his question.

"Ya Allah, who was he?One of them?"I have always stayed away from guys as far as possible, no one has even spoken with me for more than a day then what was he still doing here.

I started picking up and winced in pain since my fingers were still aching due to yesterday's punishment they had given me and I just closed my eyes and recited some duas.

He told me to stop it, but I did not listen because I have always done this, so who was he to tell me what to do? He is just a guest, not even close to a friend.

I said softly, "I can't," and asked him why he was not leaving.

It will be a big issue for me if someone discovers that I am with him.

I wanted someone to come help me a few hours ago, but I do not trust guys, so I told him to go politely and hoped he heard.

"What are you going to do now that I am staying here?" I just could not bear to be in the same room with someone that close, and those people would be coming over for tea any minute now, which I still had to make," he said.
