You: (Mrs./Mr. ____) may I please get I drink of water?
Teacher: Not right now, we are about to take a test
You: (Gets up to get water)
Teacher: Where are you going, I told you no water right now.
You: But you said all we had to do was ask, you said nothing about if you said no or not.
