Agate could feel Hessonite's anger and control over their shared body. Four arms. Four eyes, in which Agate could see out of two. Two mouths. She tried to pull herself away from this fusion, tried to become herself again, but Hessonite bound them together. Hessonite was the one pulling the strings of this puppet.
The first thing Enstatite had to do was learn how to use this new form. But wasn't her goal to get away from herself? She looked at her four arms. On Agate's side, she could feel fear and panic about what Hessonite would make her do, and on Hessonite's side, she could feel satisfaction, knowing Enstatite was much more powerful than just Agate and Hessonite.
"We have a mission to do now," Enstatite said, commanding herself. Her voice didn't even sound like one voice; she sounded like Hessonite and Agate speaking simultaneously, the louder one being in control. At that moment, it was Hessonite. But when Agate replied, Enstatite sounded more like her. "But how can we do a mission if I don't know what kind of mission it is? How do you know I even want to go on a mission!?" Agate's side of the fusion pulled their hair in frustration. She wanted them apart.
Enstatite turned in the direction of the human village, half of her preferring anywhere but there, but the other half of her determined to get a job done. She took her first steps, which felt rather unstable and stiff. They only had a few hours. They had to work as quickly as possible.
It took an hour longer than she hoped, but Enstatite eventually reached the human village. The humans that were guarding with stone spears and armored only in animal skins stared at the massive fusion, trembling in awe and fear.
But then one of them threw their spear.
The spear just bounced off her chest. The rest of the guards futilely attacked her while another human sounded a horn to warn the rest of the humans.
Enstatite just used hydrokinesis to create a barrier to trap them. She quickly grabbed three of the humans, dropped her barrier, and turned to leave. That's when half of her realized what this 'mission' was.
In Enstatite's mindscape, Agate was fighting with every fiber of her being to take control so she could release these humans. It felt like she was chained to this fusion. Hessonite, on the other hand, was fighting to keep the humans from wriggling out of their arms.
They found a warp pad near the main base and warped to the Sand Temple. There were magnificent castles, temples, and shrines entirely made from sand from the Desert Glass. Looking at the sky, they could see hints of the sun beginning to rise. Time was running out, so they sprinted to their destination.
They eventually found a huge pit in the sand, built just big enough to keep humans from being able to climb out. They hurled the humans into the pit, and they tried to climb out screaming threats.
Hessonite's side of the fusion sneered at the human's patheticness and turned away. They walked a few miles, getting the Sand Temple out of their sight, to reach what seemed to be an endless and empty desert. To Agate's surprise, Hessonite let her unfuse.
As soon as she had the chance Agate pulled herself away from their body. Enstatite was no more.
She was so shocked she could barely move. There was no water in the sand, so hydrokinesis was useless. She couldn't save the humans she was forced to abduct. She couldn't save herself. She lay there and breathed heavily, staring at Hessonite in pure terror. This was a new kind of fear. Not the fear of touch or of her life. She was genuinely afraid of Hessonite herself.
"You did fine today. We'll try again next week," Hessonite grunted. She turned around, starting her trek back to the Sand Temple. "I have a few...errands to run. You get back home. And if you tell anyone about what happened last night, I'll shatter you."
Agate curled into a ball and cried as soon as Hessonite was out of sight. She didn't want to fuse like this, she didn't want someone to literally take control over her own body, she didn't want to fuse at all! Everything about this was wrong! She didn't want to take those humans. They were intelligent, they had something called 'families', they had feelings, they had love and compassion! They also felt fear, just like Agate. And she took them from everything they've ever known. And she had no idea what would become of them.
She stayed where she was, not daring to move in fear of Hessonite coming back for her.

This time she believed Hessonite's threats had meaning.
