The bus stops at a station and I get off and walk to an apartment complex. I knock on the door and a guy opens it. My heart stops when I look into his blue eyes. I feel flushed and regain composure. The guy grabs a prop shield and throws it to me with a note.
You're my new roommate?
I'm Kacey.
I'm Christopher Robert Evans. You can call me Chris. Or Captain America.
You're an actor?
Not just an actor I direct as well.
I don't have a job.
You'll find one. I'll let you stay with me and my dog, Dodger.
I love dogs! Why Dodger?
He was a shelter dog and that's what they named him. It stuck. You're not from LA?
Nope! I'm from Kansas City, Missouri. I broke up with my ex. It's a tough story to tell.
I won't ask.
I pick up the shield and walk into my new home. I tell Chris that we need to get a roommate agreement going. We set up the agreement and we have a chill night. I look at the script on the coffee table and I have an idea. I ask Chris if I could help him out. We are outside the apartment and I say Kate's line.
Kate: (Happy) Joe, I had a great time with you
Joe: (Sadly) I wish this night wouldn't end.
Kate: It doesn't have to. I'm thankful for you.
Joe: You're so beautiful
Kate: Kiss me.
Chris looks at me and drops the script. We hug.
