Jai's Pov

I lay on my bed just thinking about what a wonderful day I had today.I met the girl of my dreams and somehow have made her all mine.I go to grab my phone to chuck Rose a txt but than I remember .... Shit!!! I forgot to ask my own frigen girlfriend for her number.Jai your so stupid!All I want to do is talk to my other half,the person I care about the most , the person I love , the person who stole my heart in 3 minutes but I can't cause I was stupid enough to forget to ask for her number.

I honestly don't know what I would do without her because I can't even handle being 3 hrs from her let alone my entire life.I start to feel a bit emotional , just thinking about it cause honestly I was nothing before she came into my life and if she leaves I will have nothing ; I will be nothing.

Suddenly , the most brilliant idea hit me! Address book! Everyone's number is In there.I reach over to the cabinet and grab out the old cricked book. I start searching for Rose... Rose.. Aghh shit! Shit!shit!shit!shit! I don't even know her friggen last name as well. "Oh jai, you've really stuffed up this time", my conscious reminds me.I walk over to my balcony to clear my mind and try to stop thinking about Rose for just a few seconds but she some how still finds her way in there every-time.

As soon as I'm about to walk inside, I suddenly hear a huge 'BANG' coming from outside. "Yoohoo , jai down here," I here a voice scream from outside.

"Rose! What are you doing here," I asked as she climbed up the side of my balcony.

"Well I actually saw you outside on your balcony while I was walking my friends dog," she giggled "so I guess that is why I am here," she said as I reached for hand to pull her over.

"I've actually missed you so much," I told her as I gave her a soft small peck on the lips.

After sitting on my bed, making videos and being stupid For hours on hand , I start to trace kisses along the side of her neck. When I'm just about to reach her lips ,Rosie's phone started to ring constantly.

Rosie's Pov

As soon as jai was about to reach my lips , I suddenly got a strange phone call from an unknown number.Honestly , who would be calling me at 1:30 in the morning ?

Phone call ( from unknown number)

Rosie : hello, this better be important because I was in the middle of something

Unknown caller : Hello sorry to bother but I was wondering if this is Rosie Young speaking?

Rosie: yea it is

Unknown caller : I would just like to inform you that the dog gene' that you have been seen walking with , has been severally injured and is in a very serious condition

Rosie : wha... What doo you mean? 'I stumbled in shock'

Unknown number: I found the dog you were walking with earlier and I had noticed it was just walking around casually by itself and I was about to go and find out where you were , until a car came speeding past and swooped gene' of her feet.she is now in a very critical condition and is basically fighting for her life.

Rosie : where is she? ' a stream of tears fell from her eyes'

Unknown caller : She's at the local vet on 25 rood rock road.

Rosie : okay I will be there right away .Thankyou

END OF CALL

"Ja ... Jaii I have to go," I cried in his arms

"Rosie baby , what's wrong?" He said as he kissed me on my head and rubbed my back continuously .

" it's gene'. The dog that I was walking. She was ah ah ," I started to cry more rapidly.

"She was hit , and is fighting for her life," "and you no what the worse thing is .... She's not even my dog! She's my friend graces dog who is in Hawaii for a holiday,"

"Baby , she will be okay and I'm sure grace will understand .I will get mum to take us to where she is right away,"

"It's all my fault," I said walking over to his bed. " if I didn't forget about her and had at least tied her up somewhere before I climbed up your balcony , this all wouldn't have happen," I cry into one of Jai's pillows.

"Rosie , this is none of your fault," "bad things happen for good reasons," Jai said as he hugged me from behind.

It was my fault well it kinda was Jai's fault to! If I had never seen him on his balcony I would have never wanted to climb up and Gene' wouldn't have gotten hit . 'What the hell Rosie' my conscious spoke.It's not Jai's fault at all! What was I thinking?

"Come on babe," "mum will take us there now and everything with be okay," he said as he kissed me.

As soon as we got in the car , everything went silent.I sware you could here a pin drop, that's how quiet it was. We finally arrived at the local vet where Gene' was. I swung open the car door as quickly as I could and bolted into the waiting room (the front of the vet)

"Umm hello, my dog Gene' , well it isn't my dog I'm just babysitting it umm was hit by a car and I was told come here," I said to the lady at the front desk while a stream of salty water was rapidly rushing down the sides of my face.

"Oh yes, your Rosie Young?" She asked

"Yea that's me," i sighed

"Follow me sweetheart , " the lady at the front desk whispered; I just nodded

"Now were really not meant to be in here but I saw how much that dog meant to you so I will give you guys some alone time to say goodbye," she smiled

"What do you mean." I almost yelled

"Sweety , Gene' past away 15 minutes ago, I'm so sorry," I started to cry

"Everything will be alright," she insured me.

"No! No it won't! You don't understand. This isn't my dog it is my best friends dog.She is on holidays and she trusted me to look after her! This dog means the world to her! It has always been Grace and Gene' against the world and I have no idea what she would do without out her.She will most likely never forgive. No I am wrong, she will never forgive me for this! and I would be really lucky if I even came out alive. Because I tell you now, before she left I promised that nothing would happen to Gene' and if something did happen she said she would skin me alive. And something did happen to Gene'! She is dead because of me! Graces soal mate is dead because of me, and I don't no how to tell her," I basically yelled while tears were steaming against .

She didn't say anything but point me in the direction where Gene' was. I saw a dog covered in white blankets on a table. As soon as I reached over and pulled the sheets of I started to panic.

"Help! Help!Anybody," I screamed as Jai the vet, Jai's mum and the front desk lady came in to see what was wrong.

"What's wrong bub," jai said wordily.

"It's not her! This isn't Gene' . Gene' is black and big , this dog is small and fluffy," I said with a confused look in my eyes.

"The person that brought her in said he had seen you walking her," the vet said.

"This isn't her!," I yelled

"Well if this isn't her where is she than," jai said while reaching over for my hand.

" I don't no but we need to find her immediately!" I said crying.

- Skip Car trip home -

As soon as we arrived back at Jai's house , I jumped straight out of the car and ran to the place where I last had seen Gene'. Jai and I spent ages looking for her until suddenly we heard a strange but familiar sound coming from under his house.

"Gene' is that you girl?" I said calmly.

A few seconds later a huge black rot wheeler came out from under the house and basically knocked me over.

"Thank you so much jai for helping me look for her," I said to Jai while reaching for his lips. We kissed long and passionately for ages until we decided to take Gene' inside and give her some food and go to bed.
