Jais Pov

I wake up with Rosie's head planted on top of my chest with my arms wrapped around her tightly.Gosh she is beautiful even when she is a sleep. I'm not sure what the time is and I really don't want to her wake her up but it might be late & her parents are probably wondering where she is as she stayed over last night as well without telling them.Wait.Maybe she tolled them ; ugh, I don't even know.

I slowly move her head of my chest without waking her. I tip toe over to my desk where my phone is and check the time.SHIT! It's 8:45pm.We must have slept for ages! I run down stairs trying to find mum, as I knew she would have woken Rosie and I up ages ago. I go down to the kitchen bench, where I find a note placed under a jar of vege- mite so it doesn't blow away.

*letter*~

Hey Jai & Rosie, I got called into work and won't be home around till 12:30 a.m tonight.You both looked exhausted so I didn't want to wake you's up;Rosie can stay over again if she wants but she has to check with her parents first. There is two bowels of pasta in the fridge for dinner,

I place the letter back under the jar and decide and see if Rosie was awake yet. As soon as I turned around I saw a gorgeous beautiful girl walking down the stairs .Rosie.

"Hey jai," she yawns while walking over to me to give me a hug.

"Hey beautiful," I say while kissing her.

"What's the time," she asks while taking a seat on one of the stools that we have.

"8:50 ," we both laugh

"Holy! We slept for ages," Rosie's says

"Yea I know! Mum said you can stay over if you want but she said to check with your parents first," I giggled

"Aw yea that's sounds good.And yea umm ... They shouldn't mind ," she says while looking down and playing with her hands.

"Rosie baby what's wrong?" I ask her while rubbing her leg.

"Nothing," she sniffles, while instantly flinches away, like she was trying to hide something from me.

"Rosie , it's okay to cry, you can tell me anything you know ,"

"I know," she semi smiles , trying to hide her tears back. I smile , while giving her a hug.

She takes a few minutes to build up the courage to say what ever she is going to say then finally opens her mouth to speak.

"It's just ... Umm," she says while a few tears escape.

"It's just well... a few years my family and I were going to the local shop to buy some chocolate. My mum , my Dad , my little sister Steph and I were in the car.We were playing loud music and playing around like we usually do," she stops to take a breath while a stream of tears were flowing out of her eyes.

"Umm... And I guess mum was distracted... And forgot to slow down and suddenly out of no where... A huge truck crashes into the side of our car. I had woken up 2 weeks later from a comer and found out I was the only one that survived," she's tells me while sobbing into my shoulder.

" All my other family members lives on the other side of the country , so Graces mum offered to take me in as her own. It's been about 2 and a half years since the accident and I still haven't recovered from it.Honestly I don't think I ever will. Grace and her mum offered me to go with them to Hawaii but I didn't want to intrewed on there holiday as they have been saving up for it for 3 years.So I just decided to stay home and look after there ... Umm well I guess... Our dog," she finishes while I wrap my arms around her trying to be as comforting and supporting as I could be.

I truly feel terrible for Rosie. She lost her whole in tire family! I knew if I lost my mum , I would be devastated. I honestly have not been able to survive. Rosie is really strong, like I tell you really strong to have gorne through something like this and still seem happy.

"Jai can I tell you something," she said while looking up at me.

"Of coarse. Anything," I smile while kissing her on her fore head.

"Jai, you know I haven't been this happy before , with anyone in ages.Not even Grace.Well grace sure does make me happy, but not like the way you have in the past 2 days that I have known you," you smiles while kissing me.

"Aw Rosie.You make me so happy," I blush, while inter locking fingers with Her.

"What's for dinner," she giggles as she just heard my belly rumbling.

"Mum said she made pasta which is in the fridge ," I say while climbing over Rosie and walk to the fridge.

I grab the two bowels of pasta out of the fridge, sprinkle cheese over them and place them in the microwave for 40 seconds each.After they are both heated up I get 2 forks out of the cupboard and poor Rosie and I a glass of Apple juice each.

"Thanks jai, it was yum," she smiles as she was about to get up to put her plates in the sink .

"Oh , I will do that," I smile while grabbing both mine and Rosie plates and place them in the sink.

After about 20 minutes of talking we both decide that it was time for bed, so I get dressed into my boxes and hand one of my longish tops to Rosie to put on.
