Train esacpe

"You didn't do as told, Shiwa" the voice rang throughout the completely black space, it came from everywhere around her, but yet from one person- creature. It had no walls anything but complete darkness everywhere.
It was unsettling, to say the least, but nothing much could be changed.

"You know the prize." The hollow, emotionless voice continued, Shiwa's face had horror plastered upon it, her eyes shining with pure fear.

"Please i beg you, " Shiwa pleaded the spirit that had dedicated his whole life building the village where Shiwa her daughter and son and a count of ten other families lived. The man had died from overworking himself constantly and was now the holy spirit of the town, but something inside him had changed. He never felt like anyone appreciated it enough that he built this place for them. So he made deals; they would do something in return for him helping out with whatever the village was in need of.

"It has barely been raining and the stream of water that runs throughout the village is almost dries out!" She exclaimed, her kids and he had been so very thirsty having a hard time trying to get water from the nearly dried out from the hot summer.

"Sure I'll let the rain fall on this village." He quieted
Shiwa was ready for a harsh part on her side of the deal.
"But only if you blow out every light in the town at midnight."

"What?" She stared wide-eyed at the black space, her completely white eyes horrified and goosebumps scattered her dark blue skin, which had small white speckles here and there.
"But robbers might come! What about my children?"

"A deal is a deal, yes or no?"

"..."

"We don't have that long; at sunrise, you'll wake up, and this dream will be nothing but a memory"

"...i"

"The time's ticking."

"Fine." She finally agreed.

She never let out the lights, yet the rain still fell bringing a great amount of water to flow.

"It was such a simple task, tsk." Shiwa felt as if eyes were everywhere looking upon her. As she looked around nothing more than black space had been seen. "Face the consequences you choose." The echoing voice spat.

Shiwa woke up in a cold sweat as she looked down from her bed she could see her children sleeping on the floor, their blankets covering their thin bodies. Her daughter, Kiwi as they liked to call her, hugged her teddy bear close to her chest, she was only seven years old.
A small two meters away from her lied Shiwa's son, Qo'wah, he was very tall, he was 16.

A week had passed since her last visit with the spirit. But she knew something was gonna happen, it was like the spirit had given her this great sense, an hourglass in her mind, and when the last piece of sand fell into the other end; the terror would release.
She kept on packing the backpack, a black one with two white hoodies, whose hood was big enough to cast shade over the whole face if the person wearing it looked slightly towards the ground.

"What are you packing for?" The voice if Qo'wah came from the tent's opening.

"Listen, " she started panic spreading throughout her, how could she tell her child that she had made a deal with the spirit, which was forbidden in the first place, and then let alone broken it?
"I- we have to go. We don't have time an explanation is unnecessary, just get your sister."

Qo'wah shrugged and left, leaving Shiwa to pack the backpack. She let down a few bottles with water and some fruits.
Shiwa placed her daughter's teddy bear in there too.

"C'mon we don't have all day!" She hurried on her children. She had placed the backpack on Qo'wah's back, as they speed walked towards the train tracks.

"And where are you going?" A loud voice demanded to know, it was too familiar for Shiwa's liking.
Clouds that had seemingly come out nowhere started to cover the bright sky, leaving it raining and roaring with thunder in the blink of an eye.
Shiwa, Kiwi and Qo'wah turned around and saw a huge black cloud slowly dragging in over the village, two red eyes placed upon the cloud, making shivers of fear run down their spines everything that got in there seemed to erase. Shiwa wanted to wake, everyone up, it was six am and she thought they would get out unnoticed.

"Run! Run!" Shiwa yelled, getting the children. All three began running but Shiwa slipped, due to the wet ground, the black cloud inching closer quickly.

"Mommy!" Kiwi yelled.
"Go! Run jump on the train-" she was cut off as some sort of rope, black rope from the black cloud tried to drag her in.
"Run!" She screamed her eyes teary.

Qo'wah dragged a bit on Kiwi to get her to move along. "C'mon!" He yelled running towards the train that was reaching their eyesight.

"But we can't leave mommy!" Kiwi yelled. Kiwi kept looking back the only this left was the white fingertips of her mother, yet her scream echoed.

Qo'wah's heart did sink deep, he couldn't stand listening to his mother's screams of pain and fear, the thought of the person who had raised them from birth was now dying, right there.

Qo'wah shook his head. As they reached the train tracks the train ran right past them.
Qo'wah's legs dared to give up under him any moment, he was tired out of his mind, his legs felt jelly and he was panting like crazy. He took his sister up, and threw her into an open box-like thing filled with hay.

He took out his hand using his last energy to try and keep up with the fast train. His fingers gripped onto his sisters, as he got a hold of her hand.

He used all his might to get himself up, and he did. He panted like crazy sweat dripping from his forehead.
"Where are we going?" Kiwi asked.

"I don't know."
