Mark's POV
It's certainly new walking to class with Jack. Having the same 3rd period was convenient. "So Mark," He began while grabbing a book out of his very messy locker. "You and I don't know much about each other but we've gone to school together since 4th grade. What's up with that?" I knew exactly what was up. I moved to LA and went to a whole new school, I was the Asian outcast because I looked different while Jack was still the hot Irish boy who everyone wanted.
Well I mean, I don't think he's hot but that's just what everyone says. But like he is good looking for sure don't get me wrong but I'm straight of course, men are not my cup of tea. "I guess you were just too popular for me. Even then." He closed his locker and started walking, I followed beside him. "I don't think I was ever really popular."
"You had every girl wanting to get in your pants before they even knew what that meant. Everyone wanted to be your friend and everyone loved you. I'm pretty sure you were popular, still is that way."
"I'm only popular because I played football last year." I mean he's right, Quarterback is a position that gets you a bunch of popularity. "Are you not playing this year?" He shook his head. "No probably not." We walked into our science class, normally Jack would sit with Singe or Felix but he sat down next to where I normally sit. "McLaughlin, what are you doing? Come sit with me." Felix called out. Felix wasn't particularly fond of me, when we were kids he wanted me to fight him. Because of my brother I knew how to fight a little bit and I made him look bad im front of a girl named Maria who he had apparently liked. "Nah, I'm good here today." Felix grunted. This can only end fantastically..
