Jack's POV
I'm sitting at my table next to Felix, Ethan and a guy named Bob. "So what happened with you and Fishbitch?" Felix asked. Bob lowered his head. "Don't call him that," I said. "Plus nothing happened, neither of us were watching where we were going. That's it. Any rumor you're hearing is bullshit."
Bob looked up at me and gave me a small smile. "So Felix, do we have practice tonight?" Ethan asked. "Yeah, Coach Lucas wants us to be prepared for tomorrow's game. Are you actually gonna show Jack?" I shrugged. I continued to work on my sheet when the bell rang for next class. It's history so it's obviously super boring.
After my history class it was lunch. All the students sat in our cafeteria, it was honestly like what you'd see in a movie. The sporty jock kids sat with each other, the band geeks with other band geeks, the Goths with the Goths, and so on. I felt like breaking that today, especially considering that I didn't really want to sit with Singe today. I could sit with the band geeks, I have a small band with a couple of them, I don't really fit in there though. I scan the cafeteria looking for somewhere to sit until my eyes land on Mark.
Never too late to make friends I guess. I walk to the far back corner of the cafeteria and throw my food tray on the table, it made a loud bang. The 3 of them looked at me with shocked expressions.
"God, I can't believe the kids that go here. I can't even sit at my own fuckin table with my team because of Singe." I said hoping someone else would say something. "What? Is there something in my teeth?" I asked. "Uh, no. We just don't have anyone sit with us, especially not someone with the McLaughlin status." A kid named Wade said shoving a whole chicken finger in his mouth. "God, Wade, do you even know how to eat like a normal human being?" Bob says with a disgusted look on his face. Wade chews for a good solid 2 minutes before looking at Bob. "Nope."
Well, this is going to be a new experience.
