•the new boy•

it was a normal day of my normal life living as Lola Rylan. and for some reason i thought today was going to be special. i had that gut feeling you feel when you know something is going to happen. it was like the feeling of knowing you are forgetting something, but 100x better.

i woke up with a smile on my face. i was super happy and she immediately got everything ready to go to school. my school is a small school. each class has like 10 people in it. it isnt that the school was bad, or there wasn't a lot of people that lived in the town, it was just that it was for a few select.

because of this, everybody knew everybody. and when the rumor got around, it got around. a new boy would be coming to the school. in my grade and everything. we didn't know who he was, but all the girls were already drooling, and they hadnt even known his name.

i was walking to class and suddenly bumped into someone. they had knocked down my books so i bent down to grab them, not thinking to look who had knocked my stuff down.

i heard another person get on the floor to help me pick up my things, so i looked at who it was. i had no idea who it was but i knew he was hot. his jawline was sharper than scissors, and his emerald green eyes sparkled in such a way that the butterfly's in my stomach went crazy. he was wearing all black with chains and it made me almost drool.

he said "sorry about that" as he helped pick up my things. when he handed my stuff back to me, he smiled at me with his bright smile.

i had to ask, "are you new? i've never seen you around." he said "yeah, the names Aidan. Aidan Gallagher. what's yours?"

i sat there in aw of his looks, but i knew i wanted to know so much more about him. he looked confused and i immediately said "oh, sorry. i'm Lola. Lola Rylan"

"that's a beautiful name" he said back to me.
"well, you are the only person i know so far, and i need help finding where to go. can you help me?" he said.

i say "yeah, of course. where do you need to go?" "college algebra" he said back. all i could think about was him being smart. not a lot of the juniors here were taking college algebra. "come on, i'll show you where your class is. i'm on the way"

"thanks you so much, Lola" Aidan replied with a flirty voice. he said, "can i have your number? you seem really nice and—"

"of course it's —(phone number)" i said back
"text me"

"i sure will, Lola" Aidan said as he walked into his classroom.
