Book One: The Demons Below Your House

Chapter Eight:

Isabella's P.O.V.

"Um....Justin. I didn't hear you come in." I said. "You were with him all day today! Weren't you?!" He said. "I...I can explain." I said. "Please do!" Said Justin angrily. "I'm in love with both of you. I can't live without both you guys by my side." I said. "Why were you kissing him on our date?!" Justin asked angrily. He looked like someone had just stabbed him. He looked so hurt. "I was gonna tell you." I said. "You know what?! I'm sick of this! I'm leaving you! I thought you were nice Issabella. In the books they described you as honest, nice and true to the friendly person you are! But I guess that isn't true! You were just using me! And I'm not gonna stand here feeling like I fell in your trap.....feeling stupid. Goodbye Issabella."

He started to walk away and he was out the door already. I ran after him. We were both outside. It was storming out. So it was pouring rain, thundering loudly and the lightning flashed brightly. "I'm sorry Justin! Just please stay with me! I can't live without you!" I said. " He stopped in his tracks and turned to face me before he said,"And you can't live without him so what's the point in staying?" He said. "Me......I'm the reason for you to stay." I said. "Yeah. But you love another guy. I just want to be in a one on one relationship. Not a two on one relationship. This love is too complicated for me to stay. I thought you were different. But I guess not. I want a girl who puts all her love towards me. And not another dude. I am sorry but I'm leaving you." He said. "But....you just can't! I love you too!" I said. "I loved you two before you cheated on me." He said angrily. He turned his back on me and started walking and in an instant he was gone.

I couldn't believe what just happened. He just left me. I just broke his heart in half. Just like that. Just in that instant. And I felt bad for doing it too. I fell to my knees on the pavement and just sat there silently. This time I didn't cry. I just stayed put. The pain in my heart was too strong for me to just cry. I just knelt there.....silently staring at where he had left me. I noticed the rain started to get faster. The lightning got brighter. And the thunder.....that just rolled louder and louder. Why did I have to do that? That wasn't what Issabella would have done. Issabella was a nice caring person who was honest and nice who could relate to anyone.

I heard footsteps come closer to me. And I knew it was Kyle. I didn't even have to see to know. I just knew. Kyle knelt down next to me. "It's gonna be ok. He will come back." He said. I got up to my feet again and faced towards him. "I don't ever want to see you again." I said. "What! How in the world is this my fault! I just asked you to kiss me! You could have said no! This is your fault! Don't even try to blame it on me." He said. "WELL IF YOU WOULDN'T HAVE EVER SHOWED UP IN MY LIFE THIS WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED!!!!" I screamed at him. "If you want me to leave! I'll leave you brat! I wish I never liked you! If I would have known you were this mean I would have gotten myself a better girl!" He said. "Yeah....you do that! Because you are.....you were never my type! And in that story you told me I'm glad your mom died and you became half demon! Because it matches with who you are!" I said. This time he didn't look hurt. He looked like I just killed his last piece of happiness and he wasn't gonna get that back. He just turned his back on me and walked away. Before I could even tell him more mean things he vanished.

I walked back to my house and went inside. When I was inside I shut and locked the door. What have I done? I just had gone insane. I wasn't sane anymore. I've lost them. I lost my last piece of happiness...my last piece of my life.......I lost my mind.....I'm lost in who I am......I'm lost......everywhere.

The lights started flickering on and off before finally the lights turned off for good. Oh great! The electricity went out. I felt a rumble underneath my feet. What was that? Then that's when the ground started opening up beneath my feet. Was there an earthquake happening? And then my house started falling down. And one piece......a heavy piece fell on me. I struggled to get out but I couldn't. The pain of my body being crushed hurt so bad I started closing my eyes. The last thing I could feel was someone pulling me out of the mess. And then I shut my eyes completely and everything went black.
