"holy shit, i think i broke the toaster."

Chai could only groan as he heard Jaemin say those simple words. Ever since the younger moved into Chai's apartment, things have been going rough, considering Chai just lost his job and Jaemin was still looking for one.

The thai boy got off his bed and headed to the kitchen, where he watched Jaemin try to get a poptart out of the toaster while failing miserably.

Did I mention that they both went to online colleges?

Shoving Jaemin away from the toaster and getting the poptart out unburnt, Chai said, "We need groceries, get your fucking clothes on."

Jaemin muttered a quick, "yessir" before grabbing his clothes for the day off the couch.

While he waited for Jaemin to dress, Chai ate the younger's poptart.

"Hey hyung, I'm done!" Jaemin shouted cutely as he came out in a white sweatshirt, black ripped jeans, and black doc martins with roses laced in them on.

"Dressed to impress, are we?" Chai asked suspesciously.

The younger huffed. "I have a job interview today and I wanted to look cute."

"Where?"

"Pirate King's Pizzeria."

The elder went back to eating the poptart after saying, "That place is haunted as fuck."

"It pays 100 per hour."

Choking on the poptart, Chai managed to get out, "I'm signing up."

"Good, we need to leave in 3 minutes!"

That was when Chai threw the poptart on the ground and rushed to his room to get dressed.

Jaemin sighed before grabbing the jug of orange juice and drinking from it.

"Welp, I'm screwed if I have to work with that wreck,"

"Welcome to Pirate King's Pizzeria!" An employee welcomed them as they walked through the door. "What can I do for you today?"

Jaemin showed her the flyer for new night guards.

Her eyes widened, "Junyoung, come here!"

A boy around their age walked in. "Are you here for the night position?"

Jaemin and Chai nodded.

"Good, you're hired!"

"Wait what--"

"And you start tonight!"
