'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose I'm winning
'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you

I’ve always been attracted to men who are smart and have a way with words. That was how I fell in love with him. I loved every bit of him. He may have hurt me thousands of times emotionally but I never left. It was what you called an ‘unconditional love’
Love is beautiful but at the same time painful. There’s a quote that says “if you want the rainbow, you have to deal with the rain.” Love is not a bed of roses; there will be bumps and turns along the way. There is no perfect love but ours is close.
We can push and pull each other any way we want. We may fight and argue but at the end of the day, it’s still you and me.
He has an extraordinary mind. He was smart and a straight A student. He doesn’t talk much but if you have the time to listen to his words you’ll know how knowledgeable he is with the world. He looks at the world in a different way. He was too smart for his age. He would always sit in a corner and write poems or stories. There were times he would draw and paint. He wasn’t anti-social or an introvert; he just preferred the silence over this chaotic world.
His name was Kris.
I would sometimes see myself looking at him from a far, amazed at how smart this tall, lean, shy boy was. He had a few friends. I would always see him holding a notebook, where he writes his thoughts. He was very quiet. He would only answer questions when asked and would always go home early.
I admired him from a far, afraid confessing to him. I silently looked at him whenever I got the chance. I have always wondered what was inside that notebook he always holds. I want to know what’s in his mind. I wanted to know everything about this man I have admired for so long
She was lively and friendly. She was sporty too. She can be loud at times but I admired her. She had this beautiful voice that I once heard inside the auditorium. She was singing “it might be you” she didn’t know I was there because I was at the balcony. She loved to play volleyball under the hot sun. She spikes hard, I know because I once got hit by the ball while I was quietly sitting under the tree. She had this sweet laugh that brings a smile to my lips every time I heard it.
She’s very diligent and helpful. She was like this ball of sunshine on a rainy day. She also radiated innocence. She was different. She was not like the others girls who have confessed to me. She doesn’t care about impressing people. She was herself. She was contented about how she looked. She doesn’t wear make-up or dress to impress the people around her. If she wanted to wear a plain shirt and jeans then that’s what she’ll wear.
Will she like me? I’m afraid to confess to her. I just admired her from a far or every time she’s not looking.
A letter falls when she opens her locker. She slowly picks it up and opens it
You're my downfall, you're my muse
My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues
I can't stop singing, it's ringing, in my head for you
She smiled. Kris smiles as he admires her from a far.
When will I ever have the courage to tell her my feelings for her?
“okay class, today we’re doing a project so I’ll be choosing who you’re going to be paired with” the teacher says
“Mr Wu you’ll be partnered with <you>you</you>” she says “now, partner up”
She slowly walks towards Kris’ table and smiles when she sees Kris looking at her
What he didn’t know her heart was racing, trying to get out of her chest.
What she didn’t know was Kris was feeling the same way.
“so, what kind of project are we going to do?” she asks
Kris then explains
“so I’ll see you at your house?” she asks
“excuse me?” Kris was startled
“we can go to mine if you want?” she asked shyly
“no, mine’s okay. I’ll see you after school? We can take my car”
“okay. Thanks Kris” she smiles and retreats back to her seat
Kris takes a sigh of relief and slumps his head on the desk.
“nice house, Kris” she says as she takes off her shoes
“thanks”
“let’s go to the study room” Kris leads the way
It was 8 pm when they finished half of the project
Her daily routine was wake up, go to school and work at the library, study and sleep.
Kris frequently went to the library after knowing she worked there
“Kris” she says, surprised
“I’m here to borrow a book” Kris slides the book to her
Everyday Kris would borrow a book
One day, Kris slips a letter in one of the books
“I didn’t know you felt the same way” she says
Kris turns around and she hugs him
“I like you too”
