“Ashley Shackler, let’s start with the interview. That’s how it works. I’ll ask you some easy questions and you have to give me an answer. I’ll give you time to think about each one so you don’t give me stupid answers, got it?” she gave me a sharp look.
“What did she think I was? A dumb girl? Sometimes I just can't understand people. Got it.” I simply answered.
“What does Justin mean to you? She began.
“Justin means everything to me. Justin is my role model, I can always look up to him and he always has something really useful to teach me. He gives me inspiration not just for his music, but also in life. He has been so strong and always puts a smile on his face.” I answered, without thinking. I didn’t need to think, that was just the main question I’d always asked myself and had an answer.
“Why do YOU have to be the girl to meet Justin?” she asked, writing down some dot points.
“Because I would like to be able to tell him how much I’ve dreamt this day and how much I love him. I want to meet him to tell him the exact same things that I just said in the answer above.” I responded as I smiled at the lady.
“Thank you, Little girl. You can go now. See ya.” She said and turned back to her computer.”
Janet and I walked at the reception where the same lady was still standing.
“How long is the result going to arrive at our house?” Janet questioned.
“About 3 weeks or so.” The fatty lady answered.
“Okay, thanks.” Janet responded as we walked out of the building.
We hurried in the car and Janet started driving.
“It’s 12.OO o’clock, do you want me to drop you off at school or doing something together?” she asked happily.
“I don’t want to go back to school just for 3 hours, so let’s do something together.” I quickly answered.
“Sure, we’ll go to the city.” She smiled.
“ We didn’t talk for the whole time until we arrived to the city. Janet didn’t like to talk much when she was driving. She said it was for safety.
“Let’s walk now, c’mon.” she jumped out of the car and pressed the lock button.
We spent most of the day in the city and had a nice lunch at Nando’s, when it was finally 6:OOpm we drove back home.
“Hope to spend another day like this with you, Janet.” I said as I walked into my room.
“Hello, girls.” Mum and dad came in front of us.
‘Hello, parents.” I and Janet joked.
They went into the kitchen and started talking.
“Anyway, I wish that too.” Janet answered and she walked into her room.
I quietly sat on my bed and took my IPhone to check my texts.
There was one from Rosa saying: “Hey, how did it go?”. I quickly started typing in: “It was boring, we had to wait there 1 hour but then they asked me questions about Justin and I answered everything. They said they’ll have the results in 2-3 weeks or so. Tell ya everything tomorrow at school”. I sent the message and changed into my pyjamas.
Mum prepared dinner and we ate, I was really tired so I said goodnight and went back into my room. Closed my eyes and once again I dreamt.
