The young boy sat by the window looking out at the sunny day. He didn't understand how such a painful day could be so beautiful.
A tear rolled down his face as he looked down at the wheel chair he sat in while painfully remembering the incident that had separated him from his best friend.[flashback]
"Hyung you like my sweet ride" jungkook laughed while the loud music played in his new car.
Kim namjoon laughed at his best friends face. It was happy moments like these he appreciated.
"Be careful kookie" namjoon stated in a soft voice.
"I bet I can go faster" jungkook stated excitedly not paying attention to his friends words.
"JUNGKOOK LOOK OUT!"
••••••••••
Jungkook looked to his side, tears streamed down his face as he saw his friends lifeless body in the passenger seat of the now destroyed car.
"H-hyung" he tried reaching for his friend but couldn't move his lower body. More tears started to stream down his cheeks, washing down some of the blood from his face.
[end of flashback]
"Jungkook it's time...."
He was brought back to the present time by his bodyguard.
Jungkook turned to face his bodyguard and nodded as he wiped the tears from his face. The bodyguard approached and helped him get to the car."Lets stop by a flower shop..." those were the first words that had come out of jungkook's mouth for the past two days.
"Of course" his bodyguard gave him a soft smile.
The car came to a stop in front of a small but welcoming flower shop. A young girl was watering some smaller flowers located near the window of the shop.
"What kind of flowers would you like to buy sir?."
"They're all flowers.... you pick" jungkook didn't want to be seen in his wheelchair. It was a reminder of his immaturity.
The bodyguard only nodded and proceeded into the small flower shop.
After a few minutes the bodyguard came back to the car with a bouquet of flowers. He handed Jungkook the bouquet and got into the driver's seat.
Tears blurred jungkook's vision as he made his way to his best friend's funeral.
The friends and family of Kim Namjoon cried as they said goodbye to their loved one for the last time. Jeon Jungkook wasn't just sad, he was angry, angry at himself. Angry at his immature actions that had killed his friend.
He gripped on to the side of his wheelchair. He hated himself for being alive. He should've been the one being put in their grave. Not his best friend.•••••••••••••••
He laid on his bed staring at the uninteresting ceiling of his bedroom. The room was dark and quiet.
Jungkook sat up and grabbed his laptop from the nightstand next to his bed. He wanted to remember the name of the last gift he had given his friend. The flowers from the funeral. He kept searching and searching until he found an image of the exact flowers.
Tears streamed down his face as he read the meaning of the flowers."Alstroemerias" he whispered to himself
"Alstroemeria symbolizes friendship and devotion, and the twists in the flower symbolize the trials and tribulations of friendships."
He grabbed his phone and called his bodyguard to his room.
"You called sir?.."
"Were you the one who picked those flowers?..." jungkook asked without looking at the bodyguard.
"...No sir"
"Then who picked them.."
"The young lady from the shop sir"
