Maybe. Maybe not.
I was just chatting online with strangers when you messaged me. You told me how cute I was, and I immediately responded, returning the compliment.
From that moment on, we got along so quickly. We even called for hours.
It was then that I had asked you where you were from.
"Pennsylvania!" You said.
"My mom is from Pennsylvania, but we are in Texas now."
"My mom is from Texas!!!"
It was pretty cool. And then it got a little cooler.
"My family is actually moving to Texas soon, but I really don't want to go yet..." you said. I assured you it wouldn't be too bad. I asked what part of Texas you were moving to.
When I realized you were moving to my town out of places, all I could think was holy shit. I was excited, but you still insisted you'd not be moving yet.
One day, however, you had a fight with your toxic abusive mother, and ended up having to move anyway.
The few months of waiting felt like forever.
