Waiting was pretty hard, and you had expressed you had no interest in dating anyone ever, because you didn't want to be hurt. Your idea of relationships was ruined all because of a dumb online girlfriend who had catfished you. It was rather disappointing, but I came to accept it, and I met a girl that was local.
I had gotten pretty close to that girl. We even messed around a little, something I'd never done. But she ended up giving me up in the end and playing with my emotions. She knew I was serious but she just wanted to mess around. She had never been with another girl, so I feel like she just wanted to try it out a little.
After that crashed and burned, I went back to crushing on you.
