As Friday came and went into early Saturday, there was a sense of excitement in my dorm. Maybe because its the weekend, but most likely because rumours spread fast at Hogwarts.

As I wake up, I notice that all the girls were smiling knowingly at me. I look over at Angelina, (who is also smiling) and i flip back onto my bed and groan. She laughs and jumps on to the sea of bed sheets.

Its not that I don't want to go on a date (I'm not even sure if it is a date) with a, lets face it, really hot older boy who so happens to be really popular. I just don't want such a fuss, or the really nervous feeling in my tummy.

"What ya gonna wear?" Angelina asks."I'm doing your hair, no butts or ifs, understand?" Kate demands. This starts the avalanche of girls telling me what their gonna do, from helping me choose clothes to doing my nails. I sigh, you would think i'm meeting royalty.

After a painful hour i head down for breakfast wearing skinny jeans, a blue blouse underneath a sweater and my hair plated perfectly in a french braid that went down to my ribs. As I sat down in between  Fred and George, Kate giggled and i rolled my eyes. George looks at me up and down and frowned a little. I suddenly became quite self conscious about what i was wearing, I knew it, too dressy.

"Why are you dressed like that?" George asks, frowning deeper. "Or more importantly, for who?" Fred asks wiggling his eyebrows. I cross my arms now getting hot and bothered. "What's it to you?" I say hotly. Fred smirks and George looks away. what's crawled up his bum?

"She's going on a date with Cedric Diggory." Angelina states as she sits down. I glare at her as she sends me a sorry-not-sorry smile. "UGH." the twins say at the same time. "What! What's wrong with him, do tell." I say irritably. "Well where do we start..." George says, "For a start his a right idiot. Wouldn't know how to tie your shoe laces." Fred tells me knowingly as I scoffed. "His face is ugly." George says plainly as Angelina puts on a wounded face. I start to giggle.

As I turn around I see Cedric walking my way and Angelina holds her breath. "You ready to go?" He asks with a winning smile. Kate looks at him dreamily and i roll my eyes at her. "Yep, what are we gonna do today?" I ask curiously."Well, I thought we could go to the quidditch field, there's no house practice today so we have the whole field to ourselves, maybe ride a bit then a picnic for lunch? If that's alright with you?" Cedric explains as we walk out of the great hall. "That sounds great, let me just get my broomstick."

After collecting my fire bolt (which he was very impressed by) we headed out to the field. The sun shined brightly for a autumn day and the sky was clear, perfect for quidditch. As we both mounted our brooms I became quite giddy with excitement so I accidental left of very hard, catching speed quickly.

Luckily for me Cedric took this as a challenge, not as an insult so we were soon racing each other, doing as many tricks to impress the other as possible. I was having a great time, racing round, doing tricks and at some point we got the quidditch balls out too. "What's the matter? You getting tired?" I shout jokingly at him who is all the way on the other side of the field. He quickly flew over to me and answered "I don't think I'll ever get tired being here with you." At that response my heart accelerated to 5 times the normal speed. "That's good because i don't think I'll ever get tired too." I say quietly, to which he smiles  charmingly.
