"Your being totally unrealistic Sam, It wouldn't happen." Dean said in a dismissive tone shushing his younger brother. They've had this discussion before, Castiel had chosen the angels over them. This had burned a hold in Deans heart, to think that stupid-winged being left him.

Sam figured Cas had things to deal with in heaven, not totally leaving. Dean just didn't get that Cas's world hadn't revolved around him. That had him confused, why does he care? But Dean always dismissed the thought of there being hope.

"Dean, He has other—" Sam was about to continue but was drowned out by Dean turning up the radio. 'Wanted Dead or Alive' Was playing while Dean sang along ignoring Sam. The younger Winchester huffed out then went back to looking for anything strange.

After their quick milk run, a vampire nest, they went back to their grimy hotel. Doing what they usually do, Sam on the computer and Dean falling asleep.

Dean was loud as hell when he snores. Half way through the night Sam couldn't stand it anymore, packing up his things, he wrote a small note.

'Dude, Fix your snoring problem. I'll see you in the morning.
Call when you wake up.

Signed,
Sam'

Dean didn't notice the door opening. He just huffed and ran his fingers through his chestnut Brown hair. 'Bitch' Dean thought. His thoughts slowly lingered to Cas, he became angry. He didn't understand why he isn't spending time with them, more importantly dean.

"Damnit Cas." Came sharply under his breath. Why didn't he come visit him more, Is he bored of them? All sorts of things came to him mind trying to make sense of the sudden disappearance.

A loud scraping sound danced to the hunters ears, swiftly grabbing his gun from his pillow, he pointed towards it.

"You're going to waste your bullets" A gruff voice said. Dean connected eyes with the missing angel. He slowly lowered his gun while a mix of emotions passed through him.

"Oh wow, You've actually showed up!" Sarcasm dripped from Dean's mouth. While giving Cas this "Disappointed mom" look, Dean stood up and walked over to the small refrigerator. Then grabbed two beers, one for him, another for cas.

"Here." Dean shoved the beer in Castiel's chest harshly.

"Dean. I don't drink?" His voice was distant and held confusion. "What's wrong Dean?" Castiel's ocean blue eyes met forest green ones. Anger, loss, confusion, longing, and tons of other emotions were shown. Whoever said eyes were the gateway to the soul was right.

A heartless chuckle rang through the air, increasing the tension. "You wanna know what's wrong? You!." Dean snapped, "You not being here, not checking in, suddenly disappearing no warning. Not having our backs." Inclosing the space between them, dean shoved a finger in the Angels chest, "Cas, when I needed you the most. You weren't there. Family doesn't do that."

Castiel was shocked by the words that seeped in. It hurt him, but he hurt Dean more. Cas didn't think he was away for long. He wondered why it affected dean so much, The Winchester's had been completely fine without him, even before Castiel.

"I don't get it.." Cas tilted his head to the side, matching a dog. "Why does me being here affect you?" He voiced his thoughts, Confusion being clear in his voice.

Dean let out a loud sigh and harshly rubbed his face. An idea came into his brain, It was impulsive but it would answer the angels question.

He stalked toward Castiel and pushed him against the wall, making a 'oophm' noise come out of the angels lips. Their eyes met sharing a silent conversation, emotions mixing, tension rising. With shaky hands, dean trailed up to Castiel's face, cuffing Cas's cheeks, Dean pulled him closer.

"Cas... Everyday that past that you weren't here. My heart ached, was in pieces for you. I hate- Loathe this feeling. You affect me so much, I cannot get you out of my head as much as I try. I'm always waiting for you to come back, you literally make living bareable." Tears were starting to form, he'd spill his guts to the being who could crush him, emotionally. "I figured out something," Dean paused while a sad chuckle came out, "I love you Castiel, always and forever."

Shocked. That's what read on Cas's face, he never expected something like this. Hearing it did something to his heart, made it race, thump, do laps. Happiness. The older winchester frantically  searched for answers, trying to read if this confession would lead to rejection. Releasing his grip, hands falling to his sides in dissapointment, trying to find a way to backup of this.

"God, why did I do this, I'm sor--"

This was cut off with their connecting lips. The kiss they shared was passionate, filled with an unspoken message. Rough, but sweet. Time felt like it was slowed to nothing. It was just them, like it should be. Hands attracted to the other like magnets. The night where everything felt in place and perfect.

The two lovers spent hours exploring eachother, making up for lost time, endless kisses, love.
