Destroyed self-esteem

I woke up in the middle of the night, sweaty and anxious. I couldnt clear my view, i felt dizzy. My hands had something heavy in them , i couldn't run away even if i tried. My eyes could see clearer , the night lamp my dad left me was on. That was the moment when i saw it......

Sophie came to my bed to sing to me a "happy birthday" , sometimes she's annoying , but i wouldn't change her for anything. She made a cake for me ,it was a little one but since i wasn't wearing my glasses i couldnt see precisely what she had on her hands. She told me to take a piece of cake and when i was close enough to her little intention of cake , she said "and may the odds be never in your favor" and threw all it to my face. I was pretty mad in that moment but then i realized it wasnt worth my time , it was my birthday so i should make a change for a living.

Birthdays are not my favorite celebrations , they are somehow stupid because people get excited for the gifts either way i could do anything i wanted to so i wasn't going to school. Since my mother pays no attention to us i didnt even had to ask for permission to stay home, Sophie begged me to let her stay with me but she's not a straight A's student so i couldn't. Once she left i went to the kitchen to eat some Lucky Charms , i just love them.

I took the keys of the car and went out and as i locked the door i heard my mom scream a "happy birthday" but i guess it might just be an illusion. I turned the engine on and keep going , in my way to the mall i avoided any type of social network . When i arrived i went past everything that might call my attention because i had my eyes placed on something already. It was 11:30 in the morning and they haven't open  the store yet , im losing my patience but i'll wait anything for that exact thing. 12:04 a lady came near me and asked me if i was waiting for the store to open , i obviously told her that yes and she told me that the owner had an accident and they had a free day. My blood was flowing from one side to the other all over my body , i felt like falling so i sat and thanked her for telling me. I was upset because they closed precisely today but i felt pity for his family and i calmed myself down.

I made a stop through the gas station , i took money from my mother's wallet to fill the tank. I wasn't ready to go back home so i decided to go to the movie theater on my own. It wasnt a long line to buy the tickets because it was early so i bought one to see an old movie in 3D it wasnt exciting because i saw it like 50 times already but as i got nothing to do i threw myself to that adventure.

As i was going out of the theater my shoe lace decided to make an amazing gift to me by taking me to the floor in front of the guy i liked, i was so embarrassed that i quickly got up but i tripped again. He helped me the second time and asked me if i was okay i said yes but my dignity was destroyed. He gave me a warm comforting smile which distracted me from anything else . I' ve  hurted my leg because when i tried to walk he noticed that i was about to fall again and took me by the hip, then he told me that he was going to take me home.
