I stood up and turned around. I stopped when I saw him.

I heard everyone talking about a new lawyer, who was very attractive, in town but I didn't know who.

"Yes?" I say, gazing into his tight black suite.

"Where are your fruits in this store, I swear I've looked everywhere." He said smiling.

I smiled, "Here let me show you."

"Thank you so much Ms.- "

       "Tenderfield, Victoria Tenderfield." I say.

"Thank you very much Ms. Victoria Tenderfield." He said reaching for my hand and then gently placing his plump pink lips on the top of it. I blushed a bright red but quickly turned around so he wouldn't notice . I walked to the back row of the store.

"So here you have , oranges, apples, grapes all that good stuff."

"Thank you so much Ms. Tenderfield. And please don't think I'm stupid I just never been in here before." He smiled.

I smiled, "I don't , and please you can just call me Tori ."

"Very well Ms. Tori, I'm headed next door to that coffee shop, would you care to join me?"

"It would be my pleasure to accompany you; please just give me two minutes."

He nodded, as I walked pretty quickly to tell my father. As he saw me spoke.

"Is this wise ?" Ron said lifting an eyebrow, and looking at the man I was about to go and have a cup of coffee with.

"Is what wise ?" I retorted , knowing exactly what he meant.

"You going out on dates with men other then Derek."  He said looking back on the glass he was washing.

"This is anything but a date, just two adults going out for coffee." I said putting on my coat.

My father didn't approve, I could tell  by his facial expressions.

"Please-" I continued, "Just watch Tank for an hour."

My father nodded and continued working. I took my hair out of its ponytail and shook it out and combed it with my fingers. I grabbed a chunk of it and put it back into a ponytail style . I've always hated it when it went in my face.

I saw the lawyer waiting for me by the door. I caught up with him and he opened the door. And we began to walk next door.

"So what's your name?" I ask him looking at his expensive shoes.

     "Jacob Wallins." He said.

"Pleasure to meet you . " I smile holding out an hand.

"The pleasure is all mine." Jacob said as he grabbed my hand and shook it.

After about an hour and a half ( and a lot more questions) ,I thanked him and placed my money down and walking off. Before I got three feet away, he called after me.

"Victoria , I think I can handle two dollars for our coffee." I laughed and walked back, he handed my two dollar bills back and and smiled.

" Thank you so much Jacob I had a wonderful time. "

"As did I ." He retorted smiling

"I do have one more question-" Jacob said looking at his feet, "would you want to go out with me again?"

"I blushed a bright pink, " Of course." I say smiling writing down my house number on a napkin for him.
