(Hayes's POV)
"Come on Hayes let's go back to my house and get some ice on that eye. Okay?" Kiara said helping me up and trying not to cry. "What don't we go back to my place. Nash and Skylynn should be home. I know that they would both be happy to see you." I said trying to convince her to go see Nash and Shannon, so they could convince her to go on a double date with them and me. "Okay fine I wouldn't mind seeing sky again." She said with a huge smile on her face. Wow I haven't seen that in a while, man how I missed that. Since Kiara walked she rode in my car over to my place. On the way there Kiara was silently crying to herself. So I pulled the car over and turned to face her. She looked at me with red stained cheeks and puffy red eyes. "W-w-why did you pull over Hayes?" She said stuttering. "I'm not driving until you tell me what's wrong with you." I said. I really wanted to know. "No Hayes I'm not gonna worry you with my problems." Kiara said wiping her eyes. "No what's bothering me is you not being okay Kiara. So spill it. I haven't talked to my best friend in years now but I can tell that something's not right about you." I said with a caring look in my eye as I was reaching for her hand. "Okay fine you broke me Hayes. Around the same year we stopped talking I got depression. From what the doctor said I've had it ever since I was little but it was never really noticeable. I guess. And I've been coping with it by putting pain on myself." She said putting her head down and looking at her hands. I looked at her and took her hand in mine letting her know that I'm here for her. "Hey Kiara look at me. I'm not mad in anyway I'm hurt more then ever but not mad. I'm mad at myself for knowing that I wasn't there for you when you needed me." I said with a painful but caring look in my eyes. I started leaning closer and closer to Kiara and she did the same thing. Next thing I know our lips crashed together. The kiss got more intense each second. Each second I was kissing her the more I wanted to be with her. Kiara finally broke the kiss to get some air. "So does this mean that we're together now?" I said hopefully. "Hell yeah. You have no idea how much I missed you." Kiara said smiling and blushing. I was so in the moment that I didn't even notice that I stopped in front of my house. "Oh we're here Kiara." I said getting out of the car and running to her side of the car and opened her door for her. "Oh you didn't have to do that but thank you."
