SUPRISE UPDATE.

I made a new cover.. Do you guys like?

I had no idea what to do for this chapter lol. But I reallie wanted to update.. So here it is~

Playing the piano was a glorious thing for Louis.

He rarely did it when people were around, because he became self-conscious of how he sounded, and how his hands looked. That's why, as he took a seat on the piano bench, Louis was shocked with himself.

His fingers grazed the keys cautiously as he thought of Harry upstairs, holed up in his room. Louis had a nagging feeling that told him to wait until Harry went out to play, but instead his fingers began to play a chord as he debated what song to play.

He thought back to a few weeks ago, when Niall had lent Louis his iPod, and a song came on that caught his ears. God bless Niall and his infatuation with Demi Lovato, because Louis grew to love this song dearly. For some reason he really wanted to sing it, for some reason the lyrics kept repeating in his mind.

He remembered the sound of it perfectly, and he began to play slowly, shutting his eyes and taking a breath.

"Before I fall too fast,

Kiss me quick,

But make it last.

So I can see how badly this will hurt me,

When you say good bye."

Louis's voice began to get louder, and as he sang he felt his emotions begin to pour out of him, his sub-conscious mind forgetting all about the house not being empty.

"Keep it sweet,

Keep it slow.

Let the future pass,

And don't let go.

But tonight I could fall too soon under this beautiful moonlight."

From upstairs Harry heard the faint whisper of song lyrics and the strokes of piano keys. As he edged to his door he felt as though Louis's voice was pulling him into a trance.

He wasn't used to hearing Louis play on the piano, but he knew he had to because some days he would find it left open and the bench pulled out.

He slowly tiptoed down the stairs, letting the music lead him to Louis.

"But you're so hypnotizing,

You got me laughing while I sing,

You got me smiling in my sleep.

And I can see this unraveling,

And your love is where I'm falling,

But please don't catch me."

When he found Louis, Harry found himself lingering at the doorway, watching him as he played the keys and rocked back and forth in his seat. His voice was elegant, almost. Harry always admired it, envied it almost. Harry was ashamed at the fact that he got more solos than Louis. It was obvious that Louis deserved it, especially with that voice of his.

"See this heart, wont settle down,

Like a child running scared from a clown.

I'm terrified of what you'll do,

My stomach screams just when I look at you."

Harry wondered if Louis sometimes sang to Eleanor, if maybe he made songs for her. The thought of that made Harry's stomach churn uneasily.

For some reason, Harry wished Louis was singing to him. More so, he wished Louis was singing this song to him.

"Run far away,

So I can breathe,

Even though you're far from suffocating me.

I can't set my hopes to high,

Cos' every hello ends with a goodbye."

Harry slowly trailed in, walking up behind Louis. He placed a hand on Louis's shoulder lightly, and his eyes burst open, the music stopping abruptly. He jumped slightly and Harry backed away in guilt.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you... It's just that, y-you sound so... Beautiful..."

Louis looked at Harry, and nervousness filled him. He'd been listening-- no of course he had. This was why he didn't sing when people were around, no matter how many compliments they gave.

Harry slowly inched forward, sliding onto the bench, eyes never disconnecting from Louis's. This was the closest they'd gotten since the slow-dancing a few days ago. Louis didn't wanted to think back to that, but as Harry's hot breath hit his face he couldn't help but remember Harry in his arms.

"Lou... Sing to me?" Harry whispered. The nervousness slipped from Louis as he felt his fingers crawl back the piano keys, and they began to move, playing notes as he looked deep into Harry's eyes.

"But you're so hypnotizing,

You got me laughing while I sing,

You got me smiling in my sleep.

And I can see this unraveling,

And your love is where I'm falling,

But please don't catch me."

Louis's singing was different when it was directed to you. It was stronger, filled with emotion. Harry found this out as Louis sang to him, the lyrics hitting him deep in his heart.

This is what it's like, Harry thought. This is what it's like to have Louis Tomlinson sing a love song to you.
