quick little notice: this one will be kinda shorter than the others. sorry in advance. on with the story.

(Ella's point of view)
I pulled up my shirt to show my back. "This is what they did to me!" I cry.
At first he didn't say anything. But then.
"Who did this to you?!" he growled.
"Why do you care?" I ask drying the last of my tears.
"Ella. Who. The hell. Did this to you?!" he asked again.
I didn't say anything. So what. I have a brand on my back, counting down to what i will become.
"I want to know who did this to you Ella! I can fix this. I can save you." he said.
"Whats the number?" I ask.
He hangs his head and says "one". I felt my heart stop.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
I pull my shirt back down. and stare at the ground. One? Thats all thats left? One? That can't be right. I don't remember the others. Jack walks over and spins me around. He holds me close and tells me everything will be ok. we pull apart and he looks me in the eye.
"Ella," he says "I promise I will never leave you again. I'll protect you. Like I should've before."
I look at the ground. Then I fling my arms around him, and bury my face in his neck. "Promise?" I manage to choke out?
"I promise." he says, as he wraps his arms around me.
I missed him. I can feel my eyelids getting heavy.
