I live in a small town called McCannes located South of California. It's always sunny and never rains, when it does i'm kinda glad because it means that the flowers and other plants are able to grow.See it hurts me to see living plants looking so dead.
Ok so, my name is Cleo Kent ( a bit like that Egyptian Queen some would say, and yeah i do look a lot like her in a way). I have ebony skin, big brown eyes and Curley-Afro hair tied back. I live in a semi-detached house with a kitchen extension to the side of the house. I live with my dad(Daniel) as my mom ran off with a sailor, i didn't really know her(I was only two at the time).I also live with my Step-mom(Cathy) and her 17 year old daughter( Emma), older than me as i'm 15. I get along with them really well, though sometimes Emma can really get on my last nerve!
My dad is a University Lecturer of American Studies and my Step-mom a Human Rights Lawyer.Emma is training to be a Theatrical set designer. I...well..I really want to be an Interior Designer so thats careers for ya!
Ok, so i go to McCannes Academy and have three friends Elena Clark , Cloris Stein and Tammy Angevine , they took me so long to find and I had to go through so many groups and cliques but now I have them I plan to just have fun!
I remember when i was about to start High School i always dreamed about having a best friend called Elena(No, actually I did)and although it took me a while to find her, she is now one of my very good friends. It's weird how something like that would happen, but it did!
I don't call them my best friends because something in the past taught me not to call friends your best..I used to have this friend Evelyn, she was my best friend(No really i thought she was worth calling best) and she only came to me when her other group pissed her off. Also whenever she ignored me (like i was a ghost or something) I forgave her way to many times and she just did it over and over again...I gave her too many chances but weirdly, i still wanted to be her friend, same as everyone else around me.Some would say that if she wasn't in the group, the group would fall apart.I was convinced that if the group stuck together, we would be fine if she ever left.Everyone thought otherwise.
Then this one time i was on face time to her and her and she said i was speaking to Elena too much.Ha! Who is she to tell me i am speaking to someone to much, and the next day she had been talking to some very good friends of mine. She was speaking badly and negatively about me. And...well...That was the end of that friendship!
Its funny when you think you have soul mate in a friend, and then something happens that makes you realise that there are so many people to be friends with out there.Or people that have been your friends all along and need noticing.Friends who drift in-between different groups;Friends who you just text to rant about the problems in life.
From my experience, Pick the good ones!
