City Of Discoveries

CHAPTER 2

...' because standing in front of me was...' my all time crush and I did NOT want to be rude to him.His name is Tobias Hemsworth ( we call him Toby for short, I'm to nervous to though for some reason),His dad works for Donald Trump decision making for the country,I don't know its all very classified.He's family is very important."Sorry" he gestured his hand. "I grinned and replied"Its no problem"I looked at him and i had butterflies all over and tried to avoid his eyes.I felt a sneeze up my nose and i was like no not now.But it came and I sneezed all over his BOSS puffer jacket.It was like the world stopped, it just stopped.All eyes were on me silent and still, unmoving.Until Toby whipped out a tissue and slowly wiped the wet dots from off his jacket in agonising slowness. When he finished he scrunched up the tissue and lobbed it into the nearest bin.I just really wanted to downsize and hide out in that bin;But life isn't that easy.

Well it was awkward but the bell and Cloris saved me. The bell screeched and Cloris took my hand and dragged me away from Toby muttering an apology. I can't believe i just sneezed on his BOSS Jacket, i wanted to retch at the thought of it.I eyed Cloris; Elena and Tammy and then we just burst out laughing, our stomachs convulsing and we couldn't stop even though people were staring at us.But hell we didn't care. Elena grabbed my shoulders and simply stated "Try not to do that ever  again" she took a breathe and added "please"and then ran her hands carefully through her hair sucking through her teeth. I watched her and replied "I'll try" and then carried on walking.Tammy didn't stop laughing until Mrs Jackson walked past her and hissed at  her to be quiet on the corridors.

It was my first lesson ,Math and i realised with a sinking heart that i hadn't done my homework and Toby sat next to me in Math.I shuffled to my seat and slumped down onto the seat getting my math book out and my unfilled out questions homework sheet. I was certain about the 8/10 questions and quickly filled them out; stopping to take a swig of my doctor pepper. I racked my brain for the last two questions but nothing turned up . All of a sudden familiar husky  voice whispered in my ear "The last two are 4.5 and 16.75 , just in case you didn't know" as this very helpful person sat down i realised it was the famous Toby.And my heart skipped a nervous beat."Gee,Thanks-really grateful" i thanked him smiling and nodding like an idiot" I filled it in on my sheet and tapped my pen up and down as he put his belongings on the desk."Hey I'm really sor-" He stopped me "Its fine really about the coat thing this morning, no biggie-A thing of the past yeah?" i nervously bobbed my head "Yeah-A thing of the past " My heart which had been pumping its way to heaven or hell (I don't know)  slowly pumped  its way back to normal speed.I then stated "Thanks Tobias" He turned round to look at me with those green orbs and replied in a sarcastic drawling voice" Why do you insist on calling me Tobias, Cleopatra why not Toby?-you can call me that you know" He raised his eyebrows waiting for a response. "I know...Tobias" and looked down smiling to myself. He laughed out loud and said "Alright Cleo".
