"If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal. Not to people or things" - Albert Einstein.

Everyone has a goal in life whether it is good or bad, you strive for it until you achieve it. The passion within me burns for the occupation of being a lawyer. Representing a person, advising clients with legal rights, I live and breathe this.

The shuddering of paper being shuffled, the strained faces of the jury sit and stare at me. The room silent as the judge's eyes scanned the document. Never have I once failed, I'm not ready to have my first failure. The palms of my hands break into a cold sweat, I fiddle with my fingers peeling the skin on the side of my thumb. I usually do this when I'm nervous that's why my hands look as if I dragged them along the pavement. Did I also mention I need to use the restroom, yes this happens a lot when I get nervous, more than average. I have a problem.
The slam of the gavel makes a loud yet light bang on the wooden piece which reels my attention back.                  The judge's lips seem to move, but I can't hear him. An eerie beeping noise fills my ears right up until...

"Innocent."
