chapter 31

Jaden's Pov

"JADEN!, JADEN!." I heard my mom yell. I groaned loudly and put the pillow over my head trying to block out her voice. I didn't hear her for a few moments and was relieved that I could go back to sleep.

BAMM! A pillow hit my head. I jumped up fast. I turned around to see my momther standing their with her hands on my hips.

"Didn't you hear me calling you boy." She said with an attitude.

"UH NO?" I questioned. "Look Jaden  I wonder about you sometimes but I was calling you to tell you to invite Danielle over for dinner", she said.

"You guys just want her to cook don't y'all." I asked with a smirk.

"Uh well yes but I mostly miss her, I like her Jaden." My mom said laughing.

"Hell yeah Jaden her food is the bomb!" My dad yelled.

What is wrong with them, I thought. I said okay to my smiling mom and she left out my room. Shot, I don't blame my parents for wanting her to come over.

JADEN:Babygirl?

DANIELLE:Yes?

JADEN:Would you like to come over for dinner?

DANIELLE:I would love to.

JADEN:Great i'll pick you up around 1:00, love you

DANIELLE:Love ya too!

My clock flashed 11:00am on it. It was still early so I got up ans took a shower changing into some fresh clothes. By the time I was fully settled it was time to go pick up Danielle.

Danielle's Pov

BEEP!BEEP! The sound of Jaden's car tore me from the t.v screen. I ran to the mirror to get a last check on my outfit.( outfit on the side) I ran downstair told my family good-bye and I was out the door.

"Hey Jay." I kissed him on the lips. "Hey babygirl, you look might fine today", he complimented. I blushed and said a quick thank you. "What station do you want to listen to?", Jaden asked. "107.9", I answered. Blessing by k camp was on and I started humming the chorus. I stopped when I heard Jaden rapping it. We pulled up to his driveway and he was still rapping.

He turned around and grabbed my hand when the chorus came on. He started to rap/sing to me.

I couldn't help but smile at him. I looked down. His fingers brought my chin up and he kissed me on the lips.

"I want you to know that you are a blessing." He smiled.

"And your my blessing Jaden", I replied.

We exited the car and walked inside the house.

Not even 15 seconds into the house I was bombarded by his family.

"Danielle I missed you so much!", Willow exclaimed. "Danielle i'm glad your back here!", jada said while hugging me."I miss your food so much Danielle!", Will exclaimed.

"I miss you guys too", I said while laughing.

"We have so much to talk about Danielle", Willow said. "No no no not right now, Danielle is gonna help her mother-in-law in the kitchen", Jada said.

What she said caught me by surprised. "Mother-in-law?", i questioned. "Yes, you and Jaden are gonna get married",she said smiling. I looked at Jaden who shrugged while laughing. "Aye i can't protested, I agree with her", he said. He made me smiled so hard I thought my face would get stuck.

"Well okay then, Willow I promise we will talk later on and Jada and Willow I will meet you guys in the kitchen", i said to both of them. "Will I will make you some of that apple chrunch", I said to him. "Thank you daughter-in-law!" He yelled. Wow, I thought. "And Jaden", I came up to him and kissed his cheek and returned to the kitchen.

"Okay so this is what we are making today", Jada said.

Jaden's pov

My dad and I were currently in the gane room watching football just doing guys stuff.

"So Jaden...you and Danielle are really serious huh?", He said.

"Uhh yeah we are", I replied.

"Well son, I really do like her and I think she's good for you, she is a nice looking girl,smart,respectful, and she can cook, my boy you got a good one on your hands and you better not let her go." He said with a stern look.

"Believe me I won't, I made a mistake once and I'm never gonna let that happen again ever."

"Good because I don't wanna hurt my own son, and please don't take your anger out on her, you know how you get, don't get so angry at little things son."

I thought about what he said and he was right, I do get a little angry for things that is not a big deal, It's just that I can't help it really.

I nod my head and get up to go downstairs to get something to drink.

I was almost to the kitchen when i heard my name come out my mother's mouth.

"So how's Jaden treating you?"my mom ask.

"He's treating me very well, he's very over protective but i actually like it because it lets me know that he really cares for me", Danielle answers.

"That's how Will acts, Jaden difinetely gets that from his father", My mom laughs.

Danielle laughs and stops what she's doing for a minute the speaks.

"Jaden is a lovely boy, you and Will did a well job on raising him to be a gentlemen,in the past I had to deal with people teasing about my appereance, the boys would always call me ugly, buck tooth, pepperoni face,and I had to battle with my weight, I never had a boyfirend at all and I was pretty sure I wasn't gonna have one evr because of my past, those words hurt me so bad, I would come home a cry so much, I never thought I was beautiful, I knew I had to change once I entered high school, I excersied,ate healthy, amd got the pipmles off my face, as soon as I did that the boys that picked on me was wanting me,.....Then Jaden...I really do like him, He reminds me everyday that I'm beautiful adn he makes me believe that, He is caring, loving, and anything I could ask for really...I'm glad I have him." She finished off.

My mom and willow both hugged her and gave her a warming smile.

I stood there astounded. How could anyone ever say those mean words to her. She si beyond beautiful. I bet they sorry now. She was perfect to me and for me. And what she said about me was breath taking. Those words...I'm really in love with her...I don't just love her, i'm in love with her.

I waited for about 5 minutes and appeared in the kitchen.

"Hey Jay", Danielle smiled. I walked over to her and kissed her. "Aww young love", I heard my mom say.

"DINNER IS READY!"

All you could hear was running coming down the stairs. Of cousre It was my dad.

"Smells really good in here, thank you ladies for preparing a awsome meal for us today", my dad said after saying grace.

We had a loving family dinner that night.
