Nataliya woke up to the sound of her sister singing a song softly and Ollie licking her forehead. She giggled as she looked for her phone to see what time it was. It was 5:50am. Nataliya turned to Traci and said "Why are you up so ear-" she was interupted by the loud sound of thunder and hail beating the car they were in. "Thats why" said Traci while giggling. Nataliya nudged her sister and laughed. Suddenly, Nataliya, Traci, and their mothers phones went off with a alert saying 'A huge and dangerous supercell spotted near St.Petersburg. 100-190 mph winds expected, hail the size of a golfball, and hours of rain. Get to the nearest shelter imediately' Nataliya and Traci looked at each other. "Girls, stay calm. We need to be ready just in case anything happens. Get your socks and shoes on, grab your coats also" said their mother as she pulled on the side of the road. "Put Ollie's blanket in her cage and put her in it, lock it too" said their mother again. They did as their mother had said, Traci put Ollie's blanket in her cage, kissed her and put her in the cage and locked it. Nataliya handed Traci her socks and shoes. Their mother got out and made sure their lights were still working. As their mother was doing that, they covered up the windows and turned on the radio to the weather channel. The supercell was heading right for them. Their mother hurried back in the car and listened to the radio as the supercell got closer and closer to them.
