"When is our siege?"

"Tomorrow, at dawn."

The demon nodded, bowing once more before exiting the room, leaving Error to his thoughts.

Ink.

They had gotten Ink and Geno.

He growled under his breath, letting out a string of profanities over and over again.

His weak points.

His family, and his love.

He groaned into his hand, "Get out Catrina," he growled, not bothering to look up from his pouting.

The girl sighed, "There is someone here to see you, his magical presence is very... angelic." She hinted, nudging towards the entrance of the tent they had taken refugee in.

At the word angelic, Error's head had snapped towards the entrance, in anticipation of seeing his holy lover but disappointed when someone different entered.

"Hello Error." And Error immediately notes the feminine voice, the white cloak the woman had on covered her face though he could see she was clearly a monster from her fur.

"Hello, Life." He answered after a moment of hesitation, Ink had told him all about the gracious ruler of heaven and how her aura seemed to radiate energy.

It did, but it seemed frigid, almost fake and ice like.

"Did your Inky tell you about me?" She grinned, eyes inspecting the other from head to toe in disdain as Error froze in shock, she shouldn't have know about Ink, nevertheless, why did Ink leave heaven anyway?

"Life," Error growled, he didn't know the whole story but he wasn't an idiot and he could piece things together.

"What did you do."

"I don't think you want to use that tone with me," she grinned, and Error swore. "I know where your lover, and your brothers are. We wouldn't want something to happen to them, do we?" She tsked.

"Now, why don't we have a little treaty of sorts... we team up to attack Reaper's castle, isn't that what you always wanted, to destroy Reaper, to be the king."

"I... I don't make treaties with demons," Error growled, as Life laughed at the irony.

"You associate darkness with evil, and light with good, but neither can survive without the other."

I really didn't try in this chapter.
